Hey girls, I am totally new to this forum, and to be honest completely out of my depth when it comes to putting out posts etc (because I have no idea how this forum works!! Lol)

I have booked my first consultation at the Bristol clinic on the 19th March… just wondering if any girls on here have been to the Bristol clinic and could tell me a little about it? I am from Ringwood, Hampshire and have to travel about 2 hours to get to the clinic itself, and hopefully the girl who I spoke to over the phone about my initial consultation will call me back this week to let me know if I can see a surgeon on the first day, as I felt it was a long journey to take just to speak to a patient co ordinator, not saying that that isn’t important at all, but I have done a lot of research already, and would like to speak to a surgeon as well.

    Sorry for blabbing on!

Anyways, any personal experience etc would be very very helpful =)

Hi! And welcome to the forum!!

My clinic is also Bristol! I had my consultation &seen a surgeon last November, it was ok- but they had recently moved office, and was a little hectic (understandable i suppose!).

My PC at the time was Louise- but she has left now! So i speak to Lisa- who is very friendly & helpful!

I have saw Mr Chantarasak, who is a very good surgeon- and known for the “natural” look! Lots of girls on here talk highly of him! I have asked to see another surgeon though, just to compare really!!

I hope you are able to see a surgeon the same day- as you’re right, it’s far to travel!! I hope you have a good experience too!

All the girls on here are great with advice/personal experience etc!

    Good luck!

    xx

    Thanks for replying!

I would really love to see a couple of surgeons on the same day, but hopefully if I tell them what look etc I would like to achieve then they will match me with an appropriate surgeon!!

I am currently a 32B and would ideally love to look/measure a 32DD but a full D would be okay. I have seen two surgeons already with a different company, the first one told me 260cc unders would be the biggest I could go… and the second surgeon offered 380cc overs. But I had a bad experience with a horrible pc from that particular company which is why I want to see MYA, plus I have heard only good things from this company!!

What surgeon are you seeing next, do you know his/her name?

    xx

hi kayteelouu, i live near Ringwood too! Had my initial consultation in Southampton, then surgery in London. You’ve made the first step, congrats x

Im a 32a- and i said i wanted to be a d/dd.. Mr C offered me 260cc overs or 300cc unders MAX! Had mixed reviews as to what that would achieve!! Its so hard!! I’d say 380cc overs would achieve that for you hun!

Thats a shame about what happened, Mya do have more good feedback than bad on here! And if your PC is Lisa, she is lovely and friendly!

His name is Mr Falladar. He has also got very good feedback! I had to cancel seeing him last week- and Lisa is going to ring me to re-book when he’s available.

Are you hoping to have it done ASAP?

    Hey! Thanks for replying!!

How come your initial consultation was in Southampton? I didn’t think MYA had a clinic in Southampton? (Apologies if I’m being a ditz!! Just ignore me if I’ve mistaken something lol!!)

I am really excited… but I have to wait until the 19th for my first consultation with MYA, and I am pretty impatient!!

Have you, or do you know any girls on here, that have taken out a finance option from the company they have gone with? I want to save up quite a bit of money (between £1000-£2000) and then take a 0% interest free finance option to pay the rest off in monthly repayments, basically I am so impatient that I want my surgery asap.

Do you mind me asking, what were your measurements before and after your surgery? And what size implants did you have?

My initial consultation was in June 2009 and i had my ba in August 2009 so i’m guessing that MYA do not use Southampton any more? Might just be worth checking with them hun? I didn’t take out the finance option, so can’t help with that one, but there will be lots on here who can help. Pre op i was a 34B and had 380 overs and now 34E :-) x

Thanks Tammy for your reply… GOSH a 34E… you must be proud!! I tried on the 380cc implants, and that is basically the size I am going to be working with at the moment. I was told I can have the implants which have more solution in them… so rippling is reduced. But hopefully another consultation with a different surgeon will help me decide once and for all! =)

&& Hey Jo… What made you choose MYA? Did you have consultations with other companies? I really really want my surgery asap… but have GOT to get as much money as I can… and I’m so nervous that they will refuse me the 0% interest free finance option!! =( I hope everything goes okay for you honey!! What surgeon are you having? And what size implants have you decided on? Sorry for all the questions!!

hi kayteelou, a friend recommended MYA to me, i’d thought about Transform as well but decided to go with MYA…i only had the one consultation, i thought if i’m not happy with it then i’d go to transform! I’m glad i made the choice to choose MYA though…just want the 16th to hurry up and get here….I’m having an uplift with 320 unders which should take me to just over a D cup (i’m currently a very saggy 34C) I’m having my op with Dr Antoniadou, there doesn’t seem to be much info about her on here but what I have read sounds really encouraging!

I was lucky i had a bit of money put by, but i’m sure you will get your 0% finance..fingers crossed for you hun xx

    Thank you!!

I’m so scared I will get refused the 0% interest free option because I only work part-time. But fingers crossed I won’t and fingers crossed I will be in full-time work by summer as I am in training stages at the moment.

    Thanks for your help!

I hope the 16th hurries up for you too, and keep in touch about your journey!! Let me know how it goes!!

    xx
