Firstly under or overs?
What size implants give what cup size? …I’m going from 32B
I desperately want my BA in time for my summer holiday in August, is this realistic? Generally how long is the process between booking and having them done?
Does anyone have any photos of 32C/32D/32DD please???
Really appreciate it
xx

I had my consultation on 31st of jan and my ba is bookjed for 13th march so your goal date is very realistic! the quicker u wantit the quicker u have to pay though, i did all mine at once so maybe thats why i could have it quite soon! 34 days to go!!!!
Im having unders which take longer to heal but tend to look more natural, depends how much breast tissue u have! the surgeon will reccomend size right for you! and you can kinda haggle a deal to suit you both lol im havinbg 260cc which will take me to a C he said, I think its 125cc-150cc to a cup size (broadly speaking that is) xxx
The decision of unders or overs is sometimes down to the surgeon depending on how much breast tissue you have and your stats. However it can also be down to you depending on the look you want to achieve. Unders are seen as the more ‘natural’ option as the shape of the implants are less visible compared with that of overs. However, overs can also look natural too, it really depends on the individual. You can also have ‘partials’ which is, as the name suggests, partly under the muscle; however this placement is less common but can still produce great results. There are various advantages and disadvantages with both placements but not all potential risks are completely associated with just one placement; for example, capsular contracture (when your body rejects the implant and forms scar tissue around it, making it hard) is usually more common with overs; but it is not limited just to overs, it has been known to happen with unders too. Another problem associated with overs is ‘bottoming out’ this is when the implant, literally, drops out of the pocket that has been made for it, raising the nipple higher on the chest, this isn’t always noticeable, so it is very important to contact your surgeon if you think the slightest thing is wrong, especially in the early stages. However, bottoming out is more common with bigger, heavier implants (something for me to worry about!) so if your not going massive, this isn’t something you should stress yourself out over. Now onto unders; unders have a longer recovery time than overs as the surgeon will be making his incisions through muscle as well as fat and skin so it is more painful. Also, your chest muscle will be compressing the implant so this can also cause discomfort in the early stages. Unders take longer to change than overs because they need to ‘fluff’ out and sort of ‘grow’ to the size they are supposed to be as they are being compressed by your muscle and this can take a few weeks. If you are unfortunate to get an infection and you have unders it can be far more serious than if you have overs if it spreads to the muscle. Another thing to keep in mind is that once you have had unders you can’t have any implants over the muscle if you want a re op in the future.
Next; implants do not correspond to cup sizes. It is impossible for a surgeon to say ‘you will definitely be a D cup if I give you 300cc implants’. This is because, again, everyone is different, even two women with similar stats and who have the same size implants can have completely different results. This website is very helpful concerning size and explains it a lot better than I can! http://www.poustiplasticsurgery.com/choosing-your-size.htm
Also another thing, fake boobs nearly always measure much more than they actually look, for example, a woman who measures an E cup with implants may only look a small D cup, so that is something to keep in mind.
Also, you can have your op booked within a week or two after your first consultation, depending on the availability of your surgeon. I was offered a surgery date which was the following week after my surgeons consultation, but I couldn’t make it because of uni commitments; all in all it has taken just under a month for me, my op is on Tuesday…So the process can be very quick if you want it to be
Hope this helps, feel free to add me xxxx
Nice post Dolly! And good luck for Tuesday hun! Cant wait to read your story!
xx
all these things are questions you need to ask your surgeon…i have partially under my muscle ….I am 340cc and wearing a D sports bra at the moment you welcome to see my picis x
P.S…It is realistic to have your BA in time for your holiday, you can fly 3 weeks short haul and 6 weeks long haul after. Also you can’t swim in the pool/sea for 6 weeks, sometimes longer…as for the incisions you MUST keep them out of sunlight for at least 6 months and apply factor 50 if you go sunbathing, especially if you go topless xx
hey hun im having unders as thats what my surgeon reccommended as i havent much breast tissue. im 32a/b now and asked for a full d cup so am having either 380’s or 410’s when i finally decide which to go for!! lol. i had my initial pc consultation on 16th jan, my surgeon consultation on the 20th jan and booked my op there and then for 21st feb so only a 4wk wait
so every chance you will get yours done in plenty time before your hols!! it really depends on the availability of your surgeon. good luck hun!! 10 days to go for me yeeeeeyyyy
xx
