im scared to cough – help!

Girls since I got home yesterday I’ve had a rattle in my chest that I really need to cough up, I’ve got asthma to and can’t breathe in deep enough to take my inhaler as I’m scared of coughing and doing some damage! Will I be ok if I did have a good old cough? X

I keep doing gentle coughs if u know what I mean lol I wad scared too but id say do it gently hun hiw u feeling today?? I got a mouth full of ulcers dont know what from tho xxx

Feeling a bit better today, woke just at medication times last night so feel a bit more refreshed. Getting a blooming cold though! Oh no they are probably from the anesthetic hun. How you feeling today? X

Just try n keep it gentle Hun, I did the most almighty sneeze the day after surgery and survived x

Wt meds have u got hun ?? Im geeling better today not as sore as yesterfay yet anyway . I got a cold two hun holding my nose so I dnt sneeze lol xxx

I’m on diclofenac 3 times a day, paracetamol every 4 hours and anti b’s twice a day.haha I’m dreading sneezing, it was bad enough trying to blow my nose this morning x

The more you worry n think about it the more you will want to, if you do need to sneeze, let it out with a shout, this forwards the sneeze if you do what you normally would which is sneeze as quietly as you can holding your breath, this will use far more stomach muscles and will hurt more!
For girls with asthma or even just a cough try piriton! A caugh is caused by an increased amount of istamine so by taking an anti it counteracts it! This will help xxxx
