im seeing the nurse but unsure what she is going to do?

i have my consultation with Mario on Friday and booked for my op on 3rd of May im also seeing the nurse on friday i think for whats called a medical? but unsure what she will do and very nervous can any one tell me? x

If it’s for your pre-op appointment, she will just weigh you, measure your height, tell you about the operation itself, go through medical history, take blood pressure, possibly take blood samples (mine did) and just go through the do’s and don’ts pre op and post op with you xx

They’ll swab you for MRSA too, forgot that bit. they just stick a cotton bud up your nose, in your armpit and also swab your groin and I had my pre-op pics taken by the nurse as I think lots of girls do. I’m not 100% sure what they’re looking for other than MRSA. I think with the blood tests it’s low iron or any deficiences but not all girls have to have the blood test, it prob depends on your medical history whether you have to have it or not.

If ths IS your pre-op appointment you are having it in plenty of time and I’m sure if anything did come back, you’d have enough time to sort it before your op so you wouldn’t have to post pone for example if you had low iron, they’d just give you iron tablets to sort it before your op xx

i was told the pre-op needs to happen no earlier than 6weeks before your op? now im confused lol x

I had mine at 3wk b4 op which ended up getting postponed 3 days before op due to not getting info back in time x
