Hi girls.. you may have seen from previous posts i was booked in for BA for the 28th feb with Dr Russo,

I knew things where going to go wrong but mya kept me plodding along telling me things where fine and booked me anyway taking my money and assuring me its ok to book hotels ect, well…

Today i get the dreaded call to say that they cant touch me and its unlikely anyone can unless they have there own blood bank. i forgot to mention i have a bleeding disorder!

Now dont get me wrong i understand my health is main concern but my anger is because i took my hemotology report rung up with all info and was told sooooo many times it ok dont worry! god girls im destroyed seriously.

Husband booked time of work to have my lil ones, my best friends arranged people to have her children to come with me.

I have lost so much money 2 nights unrefundable hotel stay because my travel would be so long, ive wasted so much train fair and i really feel let down.

awh huni i really really feel for you i can totally understand you being devastated!!!! why would they leave it this long before telling you it cant go ahead? surely they should have known from the start??? i think you need to ask some serious questions!! its so unfair for them to let you book and take you money and build your hopes up to let you down at the last minute!i know its no consilation hun but i think the least they can do is reimburse you all the money you have lost sfterall this is their doing not yours, you’ve been through enough without being out of pocket as well sooooo sorry for ya hun xxxx

Sounds really similar to my story – I only found out op was cancelled the day before though

I have low platelet level in my blood so I’m seeing a hemotologist now to hopefully get it sorted. I’ll be devastated too if they tell me there is no chance at all.

Sorry about your situation – you should definately find out why they didn’t tell you straight away though! xxx

Ohh sammi so sorry hun. You might not be alone hun I’m waiting to hear if im classed as healthy enough to go ahead too, due to a previous allergic reaction to GA, they knew this from my 1st consult back in Sep and still said was fine took money in december, booked me in 4 the 3rd of feb, bout a week before decided they wanted extra info. It’s discusting how they go about it all they should check all info before your even booked to see a surgeon let alone taking the payment. Health is important but to get a girls hopes up then crash them back down is awful. Chin up hun xx
