Implant rejection ? Anyone

Anyone’s body rejected implants. Currently researching, interested to find out how common this issue is ? Thanks x

Hey, I asked my PC at my initial consultation about implants being rejected and she said it’s not so much rejection. It’s called capsular contracture there’s loads about it online that you can read. Iv only seen a couple girls on here think they’ve had it or have had it. And it can happen aoon after surgery or many years after surgery for no reason known xxx

Thanks Jess, I’ve just been doing some reading and now educated myself that ‘capsular contracture’ is indeed rejection. Lol! We will all be Boob-Guru’s at this rate! learnt so much past week researching and speaking to new friends on here. I’m just trying to get as much information as possible as its a pretty big deal getting implants. xx

Haha we’re all experts now! I researched for 5 years before getting the courage to go through with it! Have an initial consultation cos the PC’s are amazing they will give you so much info you’ll have to write it all down just to remember and they can answer anything. Really helps with the decision making xxx

Thanks Jess. Yes its a massive decision, not to be taken lightly, I have my pre-requisite’s list but just need to see my chosen surgeon on 27th March to see if it’s achievable. Xx
