in so much pain and discomfort

yeah am propped up on the sofa with it right now – wouldnt be without it. had never been to a hospital in my life or had a GA so i think its just hitting me hard that i felt okay in hospital and now just have this pain and uselessness. had all my time with the girl i travelled with and we went thru it all together but she had a small problem after her op (small blood vessel burst) and needed to go back under anaesthetic the following morning so that didnt help things – its like i feel everytime i move that i am going to rip something

i just got asda sports bras and they seem okay for now – prob cos they so bloody hard!! laptop is taking my mind off it.

aquaban making me wee lots but that feels a good thing. havent braved a shallow bath yet but i know i just got to take my time.

thanks stacey, so hopefully monday should be a bit better maybe…i tried frozen peas before and seemed to help. just dread every time i have to move cos know its going to be agony. x

i left ice packs on for about 2 hours just to make sure it worked i thought it would never get better and started to wonder why i had put myself through it all but its worth it and honestly you will start to feel better keep takin your pain killers take it easy and you will soon be on the mend i only had mine day before you and its already started to ease off so hopefully it wont be too long before your improving good xxx

Leanne, I had my BA last Friday 26//3/10 and I too have put on 6 pound, I understand that the implants will weigh a pound or too but not that much, what water tablets are you taking? are they the herbal type?

i havent been weighed today (cant face it) but i feel a lot less bloated. i ate well at hospital but not that well…was gutted when i got on scales i just looked all ballooned up but not as bad today so hoping it will go away . I’m taking Aquaban got them in asda. and just trying to drink loads of water

Thanks for that, just sending hubby down to Asda now, I do hope your pain is settling down, do you have a V pillow, as I dont think I would have got through the last week without mine. You are bound to feel emotional, you have just had an anesthetic, which do cause low mood in the majority of cases, and when you are experiencing such pain it has to affect you emotionally. I am on day 8 and have been stupid, I have been so bored I have not rested enough and I am suffering today, so please take it easy. Is your sports bra sturdy and supportive enough, as my first ones were giving me too much movement and I felt so much better when I invested in good quality one.

lol bless ya i was the same dying to get clean still not quite there though cant get the plaster marks off from were they taped my drains down , today is my best day leanne thursday and yesterday were awful but to be honest i have hardly any pain now unless i try to get up from laying down its getting easier already so just bare with it you will soon be fine i put ice pack on yesterday which helped soooo much it might be a good idea to try it xxx

Thats probably unsettled you aswell, as it makes you think that it could have been you that had to go under again. I think that sometimes we forget that it is quite a big thing what we have done and we expect too much of ourselves. It is also strange that we think that its not acceptable to have a moan, because we have made the decision to have the op and it was not deemed necessary. I think that some of my friends who were not supportive of me having the op are secretly disapointed that the pain was not as bad as i had anticipated. So dont refuse any sympathy as you must have really wanted the BA in the first place, enough to go through this. It will be worth it and this time next week you will be proud of your new boobs and showing them off.
I would not try a bath yet, my first one made me feel like I had just ran a marathon….

thanks Annie, you made me feel a lot better. I think I had in my mind that the whole journey down and hospital would be the worst bit and that the recovery would be a breeze in comparison.
and then when i met the girl i travelled with and we went thru it all together (even shared our room!) , it was like a holiday until things went wrong with her. but i stayed with her yesterday and we travelled back last night. i think i just thought this bit would be okay. thanks for the advice about the bath.

hi all im 7 days post op now and feeling alot better can sleep on my side and get dressed even wash my own hair bet my boyfriend glad lol. still bit of pain wen i bin moving around all day not taking any painkillers now though. i got mesured yesturday couldnt help myself im 32f at the minute but they prob end up 32e after swelling gone down completly. leanne how u feeling now any better? it will all be worth it, cant belive how much better i feel after 7 days from what i did, xxxxx

Hiya girls had my op sat as some of you know and reading some of your posts has really put me at ease especially with the sharp burning pain in your left breast were cut is thats were mine is it takes your breath away its really painfull i expected my right to be worse with me being right handed hope your all healing ok and feeling better gonna take some photos so if anyone wants to have a peek let me know i had 525 implants and im currently in a 38f sports bra so hopefully ill get the e cup that i wanted this pain will be so worth it in the end i love my new boobies all ready take care everyone and keep intouch.

Day 4 post op and I’m loads better….still twinges in my left one but not had any bother at all with my right one…hope its not still to come.

still got the bloating and feel like a fat pig but hoping that will start to ease as am popping gaviscon like sweets haha! good to hear sam about day 7 sam xx

hi girls…. like Leanne i’m on 4th day post op. they still feel rock hard and won’t move. can anyone tell me when this is likely to get better. my pain is more bearable touch wood. xxxx ps i have a blister on the edge of my left dressing but im keeping my eye on it and its been there since the day after my op. it seems to be getting better and drying up, it’s just like some weird allergic reaction to one part of the dressing.

I’m nearly 3 weeks post op now and am so much better. All I have now is a sharp shooting pain on occasion in my left one, generally when I’m twisting around to see to reverse park. You will improve so much between weeks 1-3. Last week I was still exhausted all of the time but now doing everything that I was doing pre op (although they’re still tender at times). You’ll be fine. Just enjoy having lovely bouncy boobies like I am!!! lol x

:shamed:oh i’m so pleased to hear that you are really happy xx i feel tired as well. bit embarrassed really cos feel like i’m being lazy. at the moment, they’re like two smooth rocks high on my chest. my nipples are hard all the time as well!!! i have been told to wear no bra for six weeks so trying to wear baggy clothes to disguise this ha ha xxxx

hey sam how you feeling now….i had mine done thursday and didnt think it would feel this bad…was fine in hospital just seems to be since i have came home….and painkillers dont seem to be making big difference x

Oh no hun, i hope the pain eases for you soon.
I am due my ba in June and i cant stop thinking about it – i think i have had about 4 dreams about them already.
I am getting 300cc overs and i heard that the pain was not as bad for overs as it was for unders (obviously not the case)! How did you feel the first time you saw them, i think i might cry with shock.

i had my ba last tuesday and by sunday i started to feel alot better i was in so much pain everything hurt!!! I also couldnt get out of bed on my own my hubby had to lift me up haha!!! i have drove 2day so feel a bit sore it wont be long till ur ok happy healing x x

I had my BA last Thursday and by Saturday was feelin fantastic, i even stopped taking the painkillers but around 8.30 last nite I was in agony i’m not in as much pain today but feel really tired and light headed hope this is normal my boobs look like they have got closer so maybe this is why I was in pain.

thanks for comments so hopefully few more days then should be ok, the first thing i done when i woke up from op is look down my gown and said there not that big are they haha for sum reason when i look down on them they dont look very big but every1 says they are huge so glad i done it even though i am in loads of pain definetly worth it. xxxxxx

Hi Im day 5 today up and dressed today but still in pain and having the pain killers every 4 hours sometimes it feels like my boobies are on fire or there is electricity inside them?? very weird feeling my left hurts more than my right side

hi sam, i had mine done a week ago, am still in lot of pain, whole of left boob is yellow with bruising and they keep swelling.Still cant get up on my own! i cant wait to feel better again, they look big tho so worth it. They didnt look that big at first and was bit dissapointed. hope u recover quicker. x

hi all had my ba 2 days ago and im in such bad pain i ache all over and cant get out of bed without help my wounds hurt and have bled a little is this normal, my back aches from laying on it all the time my boobs feel so heavy i know it will be worth it in the end but when will i start to feel better, i had 460 overs and went from a 32b to dd or e thay really high up aswell at the moment when will they drop. definetly worth the pain but would like to no wen it will ease a bit. feel free to ask any question and if any1 could anser mine would really appreciate thanks sam xxxxxx

even just putting clothes on takes me forever. mine are so heavy its like having weights around my neck!

i don’t wanna go on too much cos i dont wanna put ppl off but i honestly didnt expect it to be this bad. have been so emotional too its crazy/ could cope with the stiffness but its the burning/darting pain in my left one its making me scared to move …….just trying to stay positive and think ahead to when it will stop but i dunno when thats gonna be.
and i’m still scared to touch them properly.
are yours still rock hard?

yeh my left one hurts loads and my right one is ok – its a bit weird. keep getting my bf to look at them underneath to check they arnt bleeding or anything. they are really hard and far apart – they look like they have a shine on them as the skin is stretched so far. i got 700s and im wearing an e cup – gutted they are not any bigger but hoping when they relax a little they will fluff.

im massively swollen around my ribs and tummy. im on 2 codine and 2 paracetamol every 4 hours and they do help but sleeping is the worst thing at the moment

i had a better sleep than expected ….am on co codamol and anti biotics and still taking arnica.
also taking water tablets cos i came back from hospital 6lbs heavier , like a bloated pig, that set off my tears last night.

am same with you keep getting them checked for bleeding cos worried sick that everytime i move i rupture something

the girl i travelled with and spent the day with (in same room) had a small blood clot after her op so they had to re operate yesterday morning so thats made me extra paranoid – but apparently its just one of those things that can happen during op.

just wanna feel normal again came on here to occupy myself and its helping take my mind off things x x

well my housemate has now taken to calling me chebs or boobs and not my name hahaaha i am getting better but im just a bit sick of not being able to go out and am very paranoid that i smell. i know they said they you can have a shallow bath but there is no way i can get in and out of it. i cant really use baby wipes as i cant bend or lift my arms so im basically stuffed lol. i sound soooo classy right now lol!

you will be fine i had mine done on wednesday and managed to have a shallow bath today and can now even lift my arms up to brush my hair woo hoo lol still cant go out tho my hair looks so greasy although iv used loads of dry shampoo

hows your pain stacey…are you jusyt stiff now? i can cope with that, its just the burning shooting pain in my left one and the fact they are so hard and horrible x
