Hello I’m new on here although I have been hovering for a few weeks researching potential breast englargement surgery.

A bit about me…my name is Nina, I’m 36-years-old, married, from London with a 3-year-old daughter.

Before I had my daughter I had very small boobs (A/B) but they were nice and perky and I was happy with them. During my pregnancy I put on a whopping 8 stone and my boobs went up to an E cup. I have lost 8 stone since having my daughter and although my boobs are still reasonably big (C cup) they are sagging and I have started to think about perhaps having implants to perk them up. Aside from the aesthetics I also feel I want to do something for myself after feeling so fat and rotten for so long, if that makes sense.

I am torn at what to do as although I would love to be in possession of a cracking pair of boobs I am worried about any possible complications and future surgeries years down the line. If something went wrong I would feel so vain and guilty. What would I tell my daughter? Also I’m just not sure if implants are ME. I’m not the dolly bird, hair extension type who wears lots of make-up or anything like that. I’m not judging any girls who are that type…it’s just that I’m not like that. I worry about the stigma of having a boob job!! If I did it I would want them to look very natural.

Whatever I decide to do I won’t be taking action until I have lost two more stone, at which point I expect to be having A/B cup saggies again haha. My husband is supportive of my decision whatever I decide to do and we have the money sat in the bank should I decide to go ahead.

Is there anyone else who felt like this? Any advice? Am I best going through a plastic surgery group like Mya or straight to a top surgeon at a Private Hospital?

Thank you in advance girls x

Hi Nina I am not a dolly bird either. I am 28 have 3 daughters oldest being 11 youngest being 5.
I had wanted a ba for 10 years then mid October 2014 I mentioned it to my husband. He whipped out the laptop contact Mya and I went to meet my pc November 1st met my surgeon November 9th and surgery was booked for 19th December. Nearly 5 weeks post op I couldn’t be happier. Why didn’t I do it years ago! There are risks with everything we do in life sometimes we have to just take them x
Good luck with whatever decision you make.

You don’t have to be a dolly bird to have a boob job. A lot of us girls on here are having/had a boob job to feel confident in our own body. I wanted a boob job for confidence and bcos it is my dream to fill out my wedding dress and not have to wear extra padded bra on my wedding day. Don’t think about the boob job name, its breast augmentation/enlargement and its unfortunately the people like celebrities and wanna be models who give the ‘boob job’ a bad name. It is such a common surgery now people don’t really think twice about it. Go for it!! x

Hi Nina, I don’t think most girls are dolly extension types on here. Just someone hoping to feel a bit better about ourselves. Everyone is scared and there are always risks involved it just comes down to whether you will be happy with yourself years down the line or will you be wandering coulda shoulda woulda? 😛

have you thought about just getting an uplift to reduce sagging and make them more perky? you can have an uplift without implants! or obviously you can have implants if you want to gain size also. Im 19 and having an uplift and small implants in 2 days to correct my tubular breast deformity. everyone has there own little reasons for having surgery and you shouldn’t feel guilty xx
