Incision positioning??

I’ve noticed on a lot of pics that the incisions seem to be right in the crease of the boob whereas mine are a little higher underneath on the actual boob itself?? Anyone else got this?? Xx

Mine aren’t right in the crease either. One seems too far on the breast, like 1.5-2cm from the crease, and it doesn’t even follow the shape of the crease. My other one is more in the crease but I think that side needs to drop more so it probably will get further on the boob cos it was underneath the crease a few weeks ago.

I had very little natural breast tissue so maybe it’s hard for the surgeon to judge how your boob will lie with the implant in so it’s guess work. But I’m not too pleased cos one isn’t very hidden at all! x

Me too! One is but the other is about 1cm up from my crease. Can’t believe how long mine are either compared to my first BA xx

Oh at least I’m not the only one then, feel a little better now. One of my scars tho is really wonky and then straightened up again, as tho he slipped with scalpel or something, still got loads of stitches poking thro too xx

Mind if I add to have a look at ur incisions girls? Charlie1, have u had much larger implants with ur second ba?? Xx

IVE JUST HAD MY TAPEOFF TODAY ANDI KNEW I WAS GOING TO END UP WITH BIGGER SCARS AS I HAD SUMSKIN REMOVED INSTEAD OF A UPLIFT MY SCAR CUMS ON TO MY BOOB ITS SELF ON ONE SIDE VERY WONKY BUT NEAT AND THIN AS WELL IF U GET ME BUT NURSE SAID WHEN UR BOOBS HAVE FLUFFED AND EVERYTHINGS SETTLED IT BE FINE THE SURGEONS DO IT SO WHEN THINGS HAVE SETTLED UR BOOB WILL COVER IT,IT CAN TAKE A YR FOR EVERYTHING TO SETTLE PROPERLY, ASLO U HAVE TO THINK WHEN U LOOK AT THE SCAR URSELF U HOLD UR BOOB UP OR LOOOK IN MIRROR WHILE LIEN DOWN SO WEN U STOOD UP WITH BIKINIS/ BRAS ON KNW ONEWILL SEE X

I had 380’s first time and 560’s this time. My scar on the right is fully visible with no bra on it that far up, but it was in my crease first time. My surgeon did say they might not be in my crease but wasnt expecting it to be so noticeable! X

Yeah, one of mine is visible just by looking straight at me without having to lift my boob or put a mirror underneath it so that’s why I’m not too pleased. If they do drop more I imagine it will only get more obvious cos my boob/implant will be lower which will make the incision seem higher up on my skin if it wasn’t already on the underside in the crease straightaway. I didn’t mention it at my 6 week check with the surgeon cos it wasn’t as bad and I had other concerns but I will when I see him again! Not that they can do anything, even in future if I have a reop I can’t see how they could make it more in the crease. It doesn’t help that they still look very red. At least I know it’s not just me as well cos a lot of pics I’ve seen the incisions are in a good place.

U saw ur surgeon at 6 weeks po? Think my appointment is with the nurse only, don’t think I’m gonna see my surgeon again xx

I don’t think they’re meant to be right in the crease, they’re meant to be more on the underneath of your boobs so you can’t see them and so underwired bras don’t rub I think. Not sure where mine are yet I’m still taped up xx

I’ve got an appointment to see the nurse at 6wks, was supposed to see surgeon again at 12wks but made an earlier appointment because I’m concerned about one of my scars. I think most clinics have u see the surgeon at 6 from the girls I’ve spoken to xx

I didn’t go with MYA hun, so the follow up appointments may be different. I saw a nurse and my surgeon at 12 days post op, my surgeon at 6 weeks and then I’ll see him again at 6 months, or anytime before or after then if I ever have any concerns. Everything goes directly through the surgeons where I went with.

Yeah it makes sense for it not to be right in the crease but I wouldn’t have expected it to be 2-3cm away from it which it is when I’ve looked at it again last night, and I only had small implants so it’s not really hidden at all. Oh well, not much I can do about it! x

Mine were right in the crease before n the scars were tiny, I didn’t really worry this time so wasn’t prepared for this xx
