Incisions…

Does or did anyone elses incisions sting since the plasters have come off? Mine are really sore n I have to keep undoing my bra as make them worse =( xx

I’m the same since i had my dressings removed on monday. feels like they are stinging more and constantly worried about my sports bra rubbing x

Girls I’m so glad you’ve said this! Had my dressings and steristrips removed today. He put a very small plaster on them but it’s so thin and they are stinging SO much 🙁
Might be where he’s cleaned them too though. I’m hoping it settles down soon x

i had mine removed monday and i will say that the stinging has eased a little but i have had some more strips put on the incisions and i can take them off this saturday. i will be 12 days PO then. haven’t seen the incisions for myself yet but my husband assures me they look really good. 🙂

I had mine removed today n haven’t had anything put back on them. I did have a tiny bit of blood on my left one after the nurse cleaned it so had put a small swab bandage type thing on it with pressure for a small amount of time n haven’t had any since!! Am allowed my first shower but quite scared to if I’m honest. Think I’m going to have to buy a new sports bra as my macom n m&s sports bra’s are pretty tight. I’m hoping it settles down too Lenna as really uncomfortable with it. Aw that’s good your incisions look good Helen. Not long before you can see them. I’m 6 days post op but didn’t think I’d get stinging like this n they feel tight too!! Do you ladies feel your incisions are tight too? Xx

Yeah they do feel a bit tight like I cant stretch out too much. Feels like I have no room for movement. I still don’t feel back to normal though. I find my boobs ache quite a bit by the evening time. Today was my first day back at work and felt very restricted. How are you both feeling in yourself?

Yea that’s the same with me. Again too scared to do much movement incase they split open!! Ah really, how long post op are you? Can’t say mine ache anywhere as much as what they did, just the incisions now so I’m going to Asda in the morning to buy obe of their sports bra’s. I feel alot more normal now within myself =) but do feel a bit tired where not sleeping good on a night. A mixture of heat, uncomfortable n my baby girl waking up! How about you love? X
