    Hey Ladies.
I had a breast lift and englargnent 5 weeks ago and my boobs are looking amazing. I couldn’t be happier. But sadly I have a small infection at the cross point in my anchor scar.
I wasn’t too worried as I saw the nurse 3 days ago and she put me on antibiotics and changed the dressing. But today I checked the dressing and it was weeping through so I changed it and gently cleaned the area. But the dressing… and sorry for being so honest… was bright yellow and the incision looked pretty sore… my other boob looks great.
I’m already on antibiotics so I’m not sure if there’s anything I can do apart from keeping the dressing clean but I feel really upset and worried it will affect my scar severely.
Has anyone ever had an infection? How did you heal? How long did it take to go away??

    Sigh 🙁

If it is weeping out it means the infection is coming out 🙂 keep cleaning it and keep it as dry as possible, the worst should clear before long!

I haven’t had an infection in mine but based on what we do with horses I can’t imagine infection is much different! 😀

I had an infection at a similar time I wouldn’t worry. I did have to end up taking two types of antibiotics as the first batch wasn’t strong enough but mine has fully healed now. So just let the puss all come out and it should dry up. I found keeping the area without dressing helped the air heal and scab it up.

@bellehollywood how is your scar now? I have an infection too from the knot stitch in the corner so just trying to reassure myself that it will close up!! I’ve been given iodine patches under a dressing after the stitch was taken out.
