Hi Hun I had an infection. I was in constant pain and all I wanted to do was sleep. All over my chest was bright red and swollen but if your bandages are still on you won’t see it. If your unsure ring your nurse and they can have a look at you.x
I didn’t have any clear symptoms of an infection, other than a brown/green colour in my scabs and they were weeping. If your scars are weeping or looking angry, you need to sort it out asap. I was warned by my surgeon that if the infection reaches the implant, then i’d be in trouble. x
