infection – bad to worse !

I wrote a post just over a week ago about my infection in my left breast, since then I’m on my 2nd lot of antibiotics I’m in so much pain I’m struggling to cope with it,

The whole situation is really getting me down,

Has anyone whose had an infection been in a lot of pain also ?

Hi. I had an awfull time with my right breast. I put up with the pain for weeks thinking it was part of healing. The nurse saw my post and got me into see surgeon. I had fluid in my breast. Luckily for me the penicilin has worked and the Tramadol pain killers. I felt **** so know how you must be feeling. I so hope you get it sorted and can start to feel human and enjoy your boobies as you should be. Good luck .xx

pinkpetal88,so sorry to hear you have an infection,have you contacted the MYA nurse,she may be able to give you a stronger antibiotic,if the one you have dose’nt seem to be clearing the infection,big hugs honey,who was your surgeon.xxx

Hi pinkpetal88, I had my ba 4 weeks ago today! Had tape off they applied more steri strips went to Birmingham clinic when Iive in Nottingham & this hired nurse that was in 4 the day discharged me! 3 days ago looked at me left breast & notice a hole. I rang mya straight away had to leave a message n the emergency nurse contacted me. She couldn’t fit me in till next week so she said I have to go to my gp or walk in centre. Went to the NHS walk in centre (sure I paid £4,000 4 aftercare too) & they told me it was infected even though the nurse had discharged me … Had to pay 4 my prescription & buy my own iodine strips & apply them myself! Currently In bed feeling like **** & have tried ringing my pc & she has not rang me back. So disappointed with the aftercare thought they would b able to fit me in. And I’ve still got a hole were the wound has not heeled! Hope your feeling better soon lovely. Xx
