INFECTION so gutted can't stop crying :(

I had my op on 16th May and my healing process was going so well but I think thats what the problem was; I felt fine so I was lifting heavy items and putting my arms above my head. I’m so so upset I can’t stop crying. I’m terrified of having to have a re op All I can think is why me?!?! I’m back on the antibiotics so I just really hope they heal it up.

My right incision had been weeping for a few days and got alot worse today. I rang MYA and they said they couldnt get me an appointment with the nurse till next Wednesday (!!!!!) so to see my local GP. I saw them this afternoon and he confirmed I have an infection I rang my PC Hollie Green who is a star and said she will sort me out an emergency appointment with the nurse tomorrow.

I’ve had such a good experience since my op and the infection doesnt reflect badly on my amazing surgeon or MYA. I guess its just one of those things. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Awww hun …. Try not to worry I’m sure it will be fine! You prob just need some antibiotics & it cleaning up and redressing and it’ll all settle & heal fine! Try not to worry xxxx
