I may just be being a bit too neurotic but I’m 4 weeks post op from uplift and ba and while most of my scab’s have come off of scar’s I still have 2 large one’s at point where nipple incision meets vertical incision, not sore at all. But where my virtical incision meets horizontal (under boob crease) I have a yellowy/white patch under scar hmm was wondering if this could be an infection??I am in no pain what so ever and keep scars nice and clean while bathing and then use anti bacterial wipes after the bath. Any post op ladies with advice on infection would be great,I’m prob just being silly but don’t want to leave it too long if there is something wrong :-( xxxx

Chic we can’t give any advise without seeing it and even then I don’t think there are many trained nurses on here!! If you are worried hun ring the nurse or go to your GP. Take care. xxx

I’d say ring the nurse x

And make sure to continue keeping it clean and keep other products away from incisions x

I’m not a clinician hun and your right go to get it checked if you are worried but I would have thought it would be red and inflamed if infected. Hope your gp can offer you some reassurance xx

Oh well good luck at the doctors tomorrow, hopefully it turn out to be nothing, just a stitch that hasn’t dissolved or something, I’m sure you’ll be fine x
