infection,antibiotics, anyone else had this prob arrrg

“hi all has anyone else had problems getting antibiotics ? i am 3 wk post op and have a small infection under right boob,been to see my nurse today at my own docs en she said there is a stitch still in there,is this the reason why its infected?i think it is bad when you pay all this money out en there is no one to do a perscription at leeds clinic,they fax it to a doc then doc fax s it back no chemist in my area will take a fax,

Im currently waiting for a call from docs as I called nurse and she said I would have to pay £40 for a course of antibiotics (with hospital group)so better to just go straight to docs and pay £7.40, I have a small bit of discharge coming from one of my suture lines and Im hoping its not an infection as I think I feel ok but if I get antibiotics to be safe rather get it early, hope they sort it for you hun x

hi, i have already had one lot of antibiotics cost £14 for a one wk course after eventually getting it sorted the persription that is as it was faxed to mya no chemist would take it,any way after having a swob done it confirmed infection meaning i have to now have the right antibiotics that go with infection,meaning yes more hassle again getting em, like i said above ended up going to own docs the nurse was not happy about way things where been done en could not understand why they have aftercare clinic where no one can issue perscriptions, sorry going on arnt i,lol. lexie i get a sharp pain in the infected area some times but not bad it is the size of thumb nail en has white sluffing on top looks deep tho en u can c stitch?

Well your on the right meds now that’s the main thing it is odd tho about prescriptions int it keep us posted Hunni fingers crossed it sorts it out for u xx

yeah thanks,hopefully these will sort it,go on hol in 2 wks so fingers croseed its sorted for then just want it to close up, x
