    Hi all
I have a consultation for a uplift with implants on the 3dr of June and just wanted some advice on what info I need to ask. What things you asked and what you feel is important to know. Any info would be most helpful.
    Thanks

    Hi Appletree

Your surgeon shouold run through the actual proceedure, recommend what siz eimplants and the associated risks. I would advise you to do some research on sizes and be clear with him on what you want to achieve. I should have asked more questions about the recovery, as althought they are likely to say no driving for a week and no exercise for 6 weeks, you won’t realise how immobile you’ll probably be for about 3-4days post-op, so you have a physcial job or children, try to find out before you go ahead with it, how long you’ll need off work etc.
Where and who are you going to see? A girl on here, JaneyH, had uplift with implants and is very helpful, so try to find her threads and that might give you more ideas.
    Good luck!

    Hi appletree and anchovie

As karenw mentioned your surgeon will run through most of questions already on your mind, what are possible complications? How long will I be sore for? What medications will I take? Are there any side-effects to these?

It’s best to make a list of questions and tick them off as the surgeon answers them, that way you know you’re in safe hands with us :)
