    Hiya Faye,
I ‘m also from leicester, i have my first consultation saturday at nottigham, I was also wondering the same how long from the consultation till procedures sometimes are, i guess it depends on what surgeon you choose etc,
I went for a consultation two weeks ago with another company they could fit me in next month, but thought it best to see a few companys then decide, I am a 34A at my previous app with the other comapny the maximum they would let me go to was a D cup, x

It depends which surgeon you go for, I’ve had to wait 6 weeks for my surgeon consultation

I’m based in Leicester too I went to the nottingham clinic I had an appointment with in three days of phoning and I’ve drove there every week for an appointment one with pc one with surgeon and one with nurse. I’m already booked in for the 25th April for my op at the Fitzroy but my iron level is 8 so I’m taking three iron tablets a day with vitamin c to try and absorb the iron asap… otherwise I don’t think they will let me have my op.

    Thanks Claire,
As you had your consultation already, did they say how feasible it is driving after surgery/ or its the case of definitely no for first 7-14 days depending on individual?
I found a post earlier in here and the largest surgeon approved for my sixze 32A was 325cc . 🙂

Think with mya the first app (consultation) is with the patient coordinator, then they discuss what you want etc then see which surgeon is best suited for your needs, then the next app is with the surgeon,
My last consulation was with a different comapany (in nottigham) i seen the surgeon at the same first consultation app,
Yeah they told me no driving for two weeks,

Hi! I had my appointment in London and am having my surgery there too… I had my initial consultation on the 14th of March, met my surgeon on the 28th of March and have now booked my surgery for the 25th of May! Its all gone so quickly and smoothly!! I was asked when I wanted my surgery date to be and was given a few options that were closest to when I wanted it. I asked for mine to be the end of May as that is when it suited me so I’m not sure how quickly they could have got me in if I asked for it to be as soon as possible! However they were extremely helpful and I know that they would do what they could to accommodate your schedule!

I had all my consultations in early march and managed to book the op 11th April. Since booking i have met other girls who have later dates than me and booked earlier! It was one of the last dates left so I had to secure the date by putting a deposit down before I had my consultation with the surgeon. I needed it to be in April or else I would go to another company that had the availability xx

Hi Faye. I had my 1st consultation 10th March with my PC in Birmingham, I have secured my surgery date for 20th April in London by paying £1000 deposit and see my surgeon Ms Lutz on 5th April to discuss sizes etc. It can all happen pretty quickly if you’re lucky. I nearly missed out on an April surgery date as I didn’t know you could secure the date by paying a deposit. I would have had to wait til june. The PC won’t tell you that as they are not allowed to make you feel pressured into going ahead so if you can, as soon as you know your surgeon, book the surgery date there and then if you can afford the deposit xx

I have my first consultant with PA later this evening in Birmingham. Excited.
Thank you for all the response ladies.
Guys, as I was filling in my medical report via mya app. there was a section for NHS/GP detail which I do not have as I have never had to register. How this will effect my procedure?

Faye, you will need to register with a doctor as the doctor will need to sign you off as medically fit to have the procedure, and will also need to share your medical records with MYA x

Hello ladies. I’m looking at booking a consultation with mya in London. I see a few of you have said about paying £1000 to secure a date. When would full payment be needed? I’m about £1000 short of the full balance I’m currently still saving

    Hi Ladies,
Unfortunately, I had to cancel my first consultation earlier this week due to not having NHS number (never had to register with GP).
My question is, how soon can I get NHS number once I submit my registration form to local GP?
