iron is 11.6 is this ok for surgery???

Mine was 11.5 and opo was gona go ahead at that level so u shud be ok, good luck xx

Well my nurse at my docs told me it would be ok for the op but I suppose it all depends on the surgeon aswell if he will go ahead or not x

I’m sure you will be fine, my surgeon said if it was above 10 she would be happy to operate but it was only 9.6 xx

i think u will be fine huni i had my pre op last saturday and they didnt mention iron or take bloods hun x

Ring your pc, I had full blood count, MRI swabs and loads more at my pre op with the nurse but that level will be fine I’m sure of it x

they ask about past medical history at your pre op, and bloods are one of the quesions, i had anaemia when i was pregnant five years ago, and had to have my iron levels checked because i told them about it, but id rather have them checked and be honest then risk my life and boobs.

if you have no past history of anything, then you will be fine, and just get the general swabs, questions, blood pressure and pics xx

its mad isnt it chick each clinic seems different hun as i had anemia in pregnancy and told them and it never got checked chassed up or anything i had my op today x
