Basiclyy i’m 19 5ft3 and around 9 stone, i used to be around 12 and half stone and i think i am now at my ideal weight. My legs and arms are fine but my stomach area is hugely out of proportion, no shape just blob!! Skin is stretchy and covered in stretch marks. I really really want a tummy tuck, i would love for the first time in my life to wear a bikini!

Was wondering if anyone who has had this procedure could answer some questions for me! :)

Hi bpatli, I’m 32 and am 11 days post op from having a tum tuk and BA. I knw I’m much older than you, but for me, now was the best time for me to have the tum tuk.

It all depends on your story and situation.

I’d suggest talking to your chosen surgeon for advise/ reassurance, he/she is the best person to advise you as they will ask you a whole load of life and health questions to help you make the right decision, there may be other possible procedures to help you other than a tum tuk, but at the end of the day it’s your life and your body and you know wats best 4 u and wat you want…

I wish you the best of luck anyway….. and remember everyone’s different and everyone has different goals in life so don’t fret and compare yourself against others just keep thinking of wats best for.you. xxxxx gud luk babesxx

bpatli go for it! I’ve just turned 21, lost 7 stone when I was about 14 so I have a tummy that sounds like yours; Loose, stretchy skin with lots of stretch marks. If it’s gonna make you happy just do it while you’re young with no commitments. Im booked in for TT, lipo and a BA in August with Gary Traynor. But remember it is important that you’re sure that your weight has levelled out else it’ll be a whole lot of money for nothing. You could just go 4 a coonsult and see what you think? xx

hiya, i think if its something you want to do, go for it. i was a bit unsure about having surgery so young as im 20 but i went for it and had my BA done 9 days ago and im really pleased i went for it. my only advice would be on having a tum tuck would be about having children…the only reason i had my surgery was because i knew my son would be my only child, an especially with stomach surgery it may have some negative effects on it? obviously dont know your opinions on that, but i thort i wud mention it. either way good luck and hope you decide on whats best for you. x
