Is going to have to cancel…feel sick!

Hey girls, I was due to be in with Mr Adamo in August about a week after I get back from my hols. Was all ready to pay off the balance but my boyfriend (who kindly agreed to pay in the first place) is getting a bit uptight about money and holiday spending money, holiday clothes, and general house DIY bits that need doing, so he asked about half hour ago if I can postpone until Christmas….but I only have a week off over Christmas and then Im back onto the hospital wards (Im training to be a nurse)….so it looks like its not going to happen.

Im SO disappointed, but as it was his money anyway Im in no position to be a bitch about it! Ive paid £500 deposit, does anyone know if I will be able to get it back??

Lol, I knew it was too good to be true…its just booking time off etc with my work that needed to be so precise as I do a lot of moving and handling..BAH!

OMG that is the worst news for you hun,contact MYA,and tell them you cant go ahead I don’t know what the policies are on cancellations.if you have already had a consultation there may be a fee for that,i know with other companies if you pay a deposit and cancel they charge you for the consultation,the surgeons time,this may not be the case with MYA,first time ive seen this question asked,id be interested to know the answer.

Hun you wont loose your depoist unless it’s 21 days before your surgery date. The MYA moderator on here told me that!

I use the piggy bank scheme, you basically just pay drips and drabs when you can (over the phone or take it into your clinic)

As long as it’s all paid 21 days before your surgery date you’ll be fine.

I’m pretty sure thy won’t mind booking u in for near Xmas if you can do that. I’ve booked for sept 2012 and just paying like 200-300 a month to them! Xxx

Ah nice one april thank you Unfortunately over Christmas I only have 1 week off then back to hoisting people and helping them mobilise etc which I dont think new boobies would appreciate!! May have to wait until summer 2013 as thats when I next have a long summer break! What a joke!!! xx

hissy just do the piggybank scheme with mya, im doing it… u just keep paying them money as and when u can ( u will get a reciept each time and it can be done over the phone) and when the balance is paid u can get them done xxx ive paid £900 so far , and i havent booked a date, im gonna wait till nearer the time xxx

oh and u can pay as little or as much as u want, theres no set ammount xxx

omg! if i was in your position i would be makeing your boyfriend feel so bad he would be pushed into a corner and have to pay!!! lol. thats just me though, when people say things i expect them to stick by what theyve said! good luck hun, dont let this set back stop you from getting your new boobies, where theres a will theres a way!! xx

Hey girls

My boyfriend and I had a long chat today, and I had to agree that with house things that need sorting it would be very silly to spend all this money and be worrying about bills, so we’ve decided to do the piggybank scheme and hopefully for a years time..Im still feeling a bit gutted, but it will probably be for the best..Would hate to be walking round with new boobies but no money to MOT car lol.

He paid for a new tattoo for me today which was so sweet, so Im feeling a lot more positive, still have holiday and new boobs to look forward to at some point in the future Thanks for your help xx
