Is In A LOT Of Pain Today..

Hey girls, I’m 20 days post-op today.. sat at work and I seriously want to cry. I am in quite a bit of pain!! My ribs ache like hell, sharp shooting pains are worse than ever.. is this normal??

I think it’s normal to hurt – i had some shooting pains up until around four weeks but not agony like you describe. Perhaps give the nurse a ring!! Don’t suffer alone xxxxx

It was normal for me,I just ached when I first had them done,a few weeks down the line I had shooting pains every now and again through my nipple,I ached and just wanted to get home and undo my bra,it didnt last for long,big hugs honey.xxx

Bloody nurse at the Bristol Clinic won’t answer her phone, nor will anyone at the Bristol Clinic.. had to call the emergency nurse and she wants me to go to Bristol!! That’s a two hour journey, I have no one to take me and I’m at work the rest of the week, including Saturday. Not a chance I can get there!!

Is there not a clinic closer to you hun.xx

Lovely boyfriend called them up because I was panicking a little.. basically I’ve overdone it with housework etc, I can go to my GP but they want to hear from my clinic before I make an appointment.

I’ve just got to take it easy, take some tablets or whatever.

Sweetheart! Stop beating yourself up! We all did the same as you. Over doing it and being impatient. You are normal and lovely. BE gentle on yourself now. Everything will be ok. See your gp and you’ll feel much better. Don’t travel xxxx
