Is it normal….

Hi girls

Im on day 4 post op. Had no pain in my boobs thus far… just had tender ribs and the bit of skin between my boobs felt like it was a bit bruised…

Today tho, literally just over the past 2 hours or so, it feels like on random parts of my boobs, more on the tops than round the sides or underneath, little pulling sensations… they arent constant; just on and off… feels more like its right under the skin than a pain thats deep into the boob (i had overs).

Is this just me getting some feeling back into them? They’ve been numb until i’ve felt this.

I’ve had overs too and I’ve been getting little spasms that feel like pulling I think it’s completely normal hunn all part of the parcel x

ive had them too, it feels like an electric shot or jolt on your boobs, right? And it happens at the most random times! Think its normal, I hope..! x

It is normal yes, you will notice lots happening over the next 2 weeks, especially when they stretch and drop, that’s quite painful!

I noticed that when the numbness started to go a lot of my boob hurt more, assuming that i just couldn’t feel it before!

could just be your skin adjusting to the size difference!! not had mine yet but sure lots of advice is on its way from post ops xx

That’s right, it’s like a quite shooting pain it’s nothing to worry about x

Yes hun it sounds to me like your healing well and thats what the feeling is. The only time to worry is if its excruciating pain thats constant and your breast is hot or feels like a burning sensation.

Im now 9 days post op and Ive had lots of strange sensations including short and sharp shooting pains, tingling sensation and also a kind of vibrating pain! They say its simply the nerve endings healing so youre feeling comes back to you… However, your nipples may always be numb- you may get feeling back in both, or maybe just the one x

Im so glad you’ve all had the same! x It felt like i’d stretched it or pulled a little muscle myself without moving! LoL

I have been putting cocoa butter on them (just on the tops) to make them as soft as they can be while the skin is stretching x

And i was so happy this morning cos when i had my wash and swapped my bra over the window was open in my room and it was cold and my nipples went stiff! So hopefully they are still aware of whats going on! x

Where have you girls found your swelling to be worse? I think although my boobs are puffy (and quite a cone shape at the minute) the swelling is at its worse under my armpits on both sides where its very hard and tender… almost feels like it could be the implant that i can feel instead of swelling… but i know its not cos i can feel the implant in the right place.

Hmm to be honest Im not sure if I am or ever was swollen… I guess the tops of my boobs have calmed down a lot so maybe just on the tops of them. My armpits have been quite sore though which baffles me! I think maybe they are a bit swollen too but not sure! i really hope my boobs arent swollen as I really dont want to lose my size!! x

9 days arent you Linzi… do your boobs look quite normal now then? x I’ve been really lucky with the little discomfort i’ve had so far. Took 2 painkillers on Tuesday night when i got home but i haven’t needed them so will go without if i can.

Yeah 9 days now… Ive just added more pics, have a look and let me know what you think. Ive also stopped taking painkillers too and finally got my tummy back! was paranoid that I was gonna look pregnant forever! However, Ive put half a stone on! I had 410 overs so I guess thats almost a kg but jees I need to calm down on the scoffing!! x

Hello girlies! I had unders and I’m experiencing the same thing, just your feeling coming back which is a really good sign! Haha linzi I know what you mean about the scoffing…I’m putting on weight as I type. My armpits have randomly started to hurt as well and I’m 7 days post op, it’s weird but I guess it’s normal because we’ve been poked arround with. x x

Great size and they dont look swollen either do they.. just very pert which im sure will settle a little in a few weeks.

Cant wait to get to 6 weeks… hard to imagine that far off right now! Feel im doomed to a life of gross plasters and sponge baths! Ha ha

I have my tummy back today… its almost down to what it was! LoL That was more painful than my boobs, felt so swollen and bruised to touch! Kept trying to breathe in but it hurt too much! LoL

Aw thanks hun! Those are without makeup too! my hair is now dark again as I couldnt afford to have another full head of blonde highlights… Gutted as prefer blonde!!

I am a size 10/12 and had 410 overs- although I wish Id had 460 now!! I panicked so much about 410 though that I wouldnt even entertain the 460’s! More fool me!

Ah tell me about it, 6 weeks feels an age away but to be fair, I cant even believe I have these awesome knockers coz it was mid Jan this year that I decided to do it so it all happened very quick! Best way I say!

My plasters were waterproof and are off now but Ive been showering since day after op. I couldnt imagine not bathing for 6 weeks- why do you have to?

I know what you mean about sucking the tummy in, I couldnt do it without pain but now Im glad I got my tum back even if it isnt the flattest in the world its still better than a baby belly right now!

I can shower after a week (when i get my stitches out) but im not able to get an appointment with the nurse til next Thursday so it will be just under a week til i can shower again… Washed my hair every day so far and had a gypsy wash but its not the same as a lush hot shower! x

Im a size 6 and about 7.5 stone but i weighed myself wednesday and i was 8stone! Glad the bellys gone down now tho! Was so uncomfortable. I was a Small 32/34B even an A in some bra’s before and had 310 overs… Im in a 34E today cos the D and DD were really tight on the cups! x
