    Hiya girls, I’m only 7 weeks post op and I only wear proper bras on the odd occassion at the moment, like if I’m off out at the weekend. Sports bra through the week at work and in bed as the nurse asked me to…

    Yet, is it normal for my boobs to be sore after wearing a proper bra for a few hours? And I mean like sore implants, it sounds silly. I’m wearing a DD bra and the fit is really nice. I was just wondering if anyone else experiences it? I can tell I’m still healing but just worried as I’ve spent about £100 on bras and they look great but my implants are not impressed! xoxo

    This is a good question .. Haven’t had mine done yet , but wondering if it might just be that they are still healing and settling inside ? Did you have unders ? Xx

    I haven’t worn a normal bra yet but maybe it’s due to the underwiring rubbing the incisions? Will probably just take a while to get used to. I was told I would have to ease myself back into wearing bras and that underwiring can wear on the implants, not sure how true that is though. Sorry I’m not much help Hun xx

    @xxcsb I am in agony sometimes after I have worn a underwire bra especially if it’s brand new as soon as I wear them in a few times they seem to soften.
    So don’t worry hun your not the only one x

    @sr93 I was given an info sheet from Mr kazzazi at 12 week check that did say over wearing of underwires can wear on the bottom of the implant.
    It also said despite what bra fitters suggest go up a back size (which I haven’t followed).

    @amy03 I try not to wear them too often, depending on what I’m wearing to be honest! As if it’s an outfit that I want a nice cleavage in, then there’s no way you can go without underwire! The fitters said I was a 32 back but I’ve always worn a 34 back as it’s a lot more comfty! Then after seeing your post about going up a back size, I felt like I didn’t need to go down to a 32 back. I still haven’t been brave and gone bra-less! haha. I guess they will be sore from having the pressure of a fitted bra all day long! xo

    @xxcsb I wear my sports bra 24/7 mon-fri.
    I have been bra less but only in bed at night for a hour or2 then I wake up and have to put on my sports bra as I am paranoid they will go saggy lol
