just thinking that as long as I keep my upper body still, sit upright and keep blood pressure right down??
I’m 19 days post op and have been out and about on my push bike since day 5. I hope i’m not doing any damage, but it’s low impact stuff and I think I’ll go stir crazy sat on my ass. I’ve not been pushing myself too hard though and staying away from bumps!!!
Personally I would say don’t risk it. Everyone heals differently but surely after spending all that money on new boobs you don’t want to do anything to risk injuring yourself?! I waited four weeks till I went back on the bike. Maybe I’m just over cautious but they do say six weeks recovery for a reason! I’m now 7 weeks post op and I’m glad I waited till they were fully settled and scars healed before I attempted exercise again. BUT it’s up to you and how you feel
I do agree with you bethy on some points. We do all heal at different rates and it is a lot of money to spend to go and ruin things. However I’m not over exerting myself and I feel more comfortable and less bounce than when I’m walking. When I had my consultation with my surgeon and told him I was a runner, he obviously said no way and now that I have my precious assets there’s no way I could or would want to run. My husband also said he had fears that I wouldn’t sit on my butt and let things heal and the one thing the surgeon recommended because it was low impact was cycling. I’m also well strapped up with a very good sports bra which I seem to live in these days!
ah i’d be scared that I might fall off a bicycle if I went out cycling and do some serious damage! Think I am going to start cycling in the gym after a couple of weeks though, and before that do lots of walking. I will go mad else!
I’m lucky in that I live in the country with miles and miles of very quiet roads to cycle on. Cycling in a town or city would be very scarey and I’d be scared of coming off or being knocked off to! At least in a gym you can take it as easy as you want and you get to show off your nice new boobies in some clingy lycra too. Just dont go daft XX
haha agreed. My ops not until 16 July but will be careful after. Mind you, after 2 months I’m going back to rugby training. Mr Fallahdar looked aghast when i told him that and told me to get the inspira naturelle for the lifetime guarantee!!
PMSL! Oh my god sedm27282 I thought I was bad!! You go girl LOL. Love rugby myself but watching from the side line and generally the big hunky guys

You know your own body and your limits i think, so id say just take it easy
