Is it true unders dont feel as squashy or push 2gether as easy as overs?!

Sorry girls i feel like im posting stupid questions but need to know these wee things lol….Read on here sumwhere unders dont feel or move as good as overs…is it a forum myth or truth lol?! xx

I’m just over 6 weeks post op and my unders feel very squishy now and I can easily push them together. Never felt overs so I can’t compare, but mine are definitely flexible haha

your right hun, unders are generally firmer than overs as the pectiral muscle tends to push them down. However over time alot of girls that have had unders say they soften alot. I had overs which dont feel extremely squishy tbh hun. I think implants in general feel quite firm. It is said that you dont get as good of a clevage with unders as u would with overs xxxx

I’ve got great cleavage, especially in some of the bras I’ve been trying on the last few days lmao! It depends what you had to start with though – if your breasts are far apart then you probably won’t get great cleavage, although there are some bras now that work wonders:D Sure I’ll add you hun. Ive heard this too im 8 days post op and mine are still very hard … its good to hear from people who have actually had them done, its reasuring X

Mine were hard right up to week 3, then i could feel the left getting softer and dropping and started to panic that the right wasn’t following. Day by day they got a little softer but would still go hard again after i did anything remotely strenuous like walking or driving (couldn’t drive comfortably until week 5!!). Now they are very soft although the right one still feels a bit tense after i’ve driven or done a lot. They change every day x

FOr first few months unders are hard/firm. Im now 16wks po and can get a cracking cleavage and also push them up down lol !!

I asjed mr traynor bout the softness, he said we notice them getting softer as the implant is under the first layer of muscle and the muscle is now damaged meaning we cant work it. Therefore in time the mucle becomes weak and useless and thin!

Overs are really soft! My friends all have overs and they feel amazing! Look softer too, where as mine look firm and in place xx

Me and a work collegue had unders/overs. Hers are unders and a lot harder than mine, she is gutted she cant get a clevage like me. she had hers done 8 weeks b4 me and im 15 weeks. I had overs. Proof is in the pudding me thinks. But may change a year or so down the line. xx

I had unders 3wks ago n like newboobies mine were really hard didn’t move at all!! Now I can squish them in-between my fingers a little n again if I do too much they get harder again. Getting out the bath tho they r very soft ha. If I lift my arm up I can now c my skin/boob moving with me a bit were as b4 I couldn’t.

As u will keep reading people always say unders change loads n every1 is different. Xx

Most of u have unders and they look so great :)think the over look is more what im after though, im actualy changing my mind crazy much here lol…1 surgeon advised overs, another partial unders…think i’ll go see another n what ever he suggests al go for lol so sick of trying to decide haha! Fairy what do you mean about the muscle getting thin? I read up because i was worried about this and all the studies have shown that the muscle goes back to exactly the state it was before the op after a few months. Was he saying it causes problems down the line or??

There are pros and cons to both overs and unders hun – overs tend to recover quicker, give a more immediate fuller look, and generally you can have bigger implants. Unders though have less danger of some of the common problems like rippling, CC, etc, and tend to give a more natural look. See what the surgeon that you choose says and make sure to understand his/ her reasoning xx

U have three layers of muscle, top layer is the lazy layer. Implant is under that layer (full unders used in rebuilding breasts are under all 3)…

The top layer has been cut away from bottom two, and now cant be worked. No long term probs, no loss of strength, no probs at all! I can still do same weights as before etc.

Oh I see. I think mine are totally under muscle (how crap that i don’t even know!). Interesting.

Most surgeons say ur having unders when infact ur having partials. Unders are normally only for reconstructive surgery after cancer or gender change surgery. Full unders recovery is more than six weeks and take a lot longer tha 45min op to do them.

So u more than likely have partials. Nust most surgeons refer to unders/overs.

IF u can feel the implant at the bottom.of ur boob u have partials. As full unders totally enclose the implant
