is making a complaint to mya today……………………………..

first of all i would like to say a massive thank to to bonz25 for making me aware of what she told me……. bonz25 was on google images looking for pictures of mario russo…………… and onli happens to see my profile picture of mya space which happens to be of my boobs few days post op naked….. i am absolutely furious at seeing this…… so beware girls and check for ur own profile pictures….. x

Oh my god babe, that is shocking!!! I would feel so upset if that happened. In fact, im taking my picture off this site. It took me all my courage to put them on, but in the end I decided to, in order to help other girls on here. That is disgusting xxx

hi Claire its because ur pich of boobs r ur profile pich hun and if u click on it its cuz someone asked about russo noone thats why ur pich comes up MYA is not using it x if u google my name many ov my pic would come up either on myspace or facebook its just the web .

i typed in my name yesterday and it came up with all of the posts I had written, there are people out there that I havent discussed, nor want them to know about the ins and outs of my surgery, yet if you type in my name, you even get to see what sizes ive been contemplating! its not on…x

I think we need to made aware then beccy that this can happen. Im not clued up on how the internet works and how it retrieves pics, but if i thought there was any chance my pic could end up on google images, id have never put any on x

I just googled staciejane mya and every1s pic has come on that ive spoken too

i just put becca13 into google and it went straight to my profile page where i then went into my details and it gave my date of birth and surgery dates etc x

This is why I’m abit unsure to put pics up??? If it was just on here to help u girls out I’d do it in a second but don’t really like the idea of them for every tom dick n harry having a look xx

Unfortunately I think it’s the way it goes whatever picture or website you upload pictures to.

For instance if I type my name into google images, some of my pictures uploaded on to facebook show up! 😮

hi girls because you have uploaded the pics to a public forum even if ur profile is private the server itself is public if you dont want your pic seem delete them the ones u put into ur profile but the ones u make private r ok its just how the web is is MYA might of thought you was aware of the risks of surfing the net.

I think its disgusting glad to bring it to attention as I know our pics are really private!!! I couldnt beleive it, I wont be putting a profile pic up as i think it is just that pic that comes up and have changed my date of birth (im now younger lol) xx

Hiya, if i type my full name into google it brings up loads of pics that i have on fb and myspace etc, its anything you use as ur profile pic etc cause uve uploaded it to a web page it shows on a google search but ur private pics will be safe x

Just to clarify the photos that are saved in your photo albums that are set to be viewed by only your friends, registered members or yourself can’t be accessed by Google Image search.

This forum is a public forum and any profile images or images set to Public can be found on Google search.

I’m afraid MYA do not have any control over what Google choose to display.

If you don’t want images you upload to MYA Space to be displayed in Google, please only upload them to the albums section and set the privacy of them to “Private, Friends Only or Registered Members”.

Beccy is right. Also, i don’t mind other girls seeing mine. You put them on here for others to see, and that’s no different from being open to the wider public. Men do not go looking for pics of post op breasts, so no one is getting off on naked you :p lol x

wow just googled myself and my pic comes up, i think thats pretty cool lol, my boobies are on google haha, my pics arnt event private so i dont mind who see them, just like being on page 3 haha xx

Gosh… how very British we are… Haha 😆 !! To be honest, if it weren’t for the fact I don’t want to embarrass my friends or family, my boobie photos would all be on FB too. I love them and I’m proud of myself for changing something that made me unhappy. If anyone doesn’t want their photos to be seen, keep them somewhere private. xxx

OMG I never knew this! I’ve just done it but luckly my profile pic is only of a eye and lashes. Was thinking about changing mine to my boobs but I won’t now. Don’t like the thought of just anyone seeing my boobs by a google search!!!! So glad your bringing this to peoples attention girls xxx

You need to remember that your profile picture is visible to anyone who looks in the forum. Therefore, always use one that you are comfortable with the public seeing. This is the same for FB, Twitter, Linkedin & such like.
