is so annoyed!!!

i had my ba 12 days ago and the day i had the op, i brought a macom bra with me (obviously not knowing what size i would be) i asked the nurse at the hospital, is it the right size?she just stuck it on and struggled to do it up and just kept smiling, so i thought maybe as its new it just needs to be stretched ( not thinking any different) my boobs have been aching since and i noticed the nipple area looked flat not in proportion with the rest, so i questioned my nurse at the clinic about it and she said the shape was rare & she hardly see’s boobs go this way, so i showed the bra and how tight it was and straight away she said its far to tight and is causing my boobs to misshapen, so ive had to order another one!! but if my boobs dont get their shape i have to be referred back to my surgeon to see what she can suggest if anything!! this whole situation has annoyed me as it cost alot of money for these implants and to have boobs that look crap from the side is really upsetting,im so annoyed with the nurse in the hospital,yeah she hardly spoke english but come on it was not a hard question, i could of changed my bra earlier if i knew this was gonna happen!! im worried now that my boobs have healed in this funny shape and are unable to be put right has anyone else had this happen to u and if so how did urs turn out after? xx

hey hun, im shocked that the nurse would behave in that manner, also why have a nurse if they dont speak enough english for u 2 b able 2 ask for advice etc. if she was having trouble with putin it on she should have told u, so sori uve gone thru it. im nt 2 sure as 2 what u mean by flat nipple area bt hopefully ul get it sorted hun, all the best xx

thanks hun , i hope so!! the nipple area instead of being the normal pointy boob shape thats full looking, from my view looking down the implant goes out and the nipple dips back into the implant like its sunk back in making the boob round but the nipple area flat and misshapen, it even shows up through my bra u can see and feel like two bumps from the implant and nipple dissapears inbetween ( hope that makes more sence) xx

Oh no that’s terrible! Have u contacted the hospital to complain? I would be! My nurse was the opposite and told me to send the Macon bras back as the cheaper ones are just as good, and she said to get a bigger bra for the swelling! I really would write a complaint to the hospital to make sure this does not happen to any other girls. I hope they even out for you to save you more uncomfort

One of My niPples were flat when i came out of surgery because the dressing covered it too much. I also wore bra that felt too tight for me. my nipplle has still not popped back out but my shape is fine now. I’m 13 weeks post op! I’ve been told the Nipple can take a long time but should eventually resume it’s normal duty!!! good luck

Thanks for your post. I am sorry this has happened to you and hope it sorts itself out. My BA is tomorrow, so thanks to your post I will be carefull with my Macom bra. x
