Is the 6 week check just surgeon or nurse aswell?

Im having my 6 week check at 5 weeks as will be away the week after. Do i only see the surgeon or is it the nurse too?. What should i expect?. Will i be aloud to wear propper bras, with underwire?. hope so. but wont get my hopes up

i seen just the nurse at 6 weeks and im seeing the surgeon at 4 months, i wore my sports bra to my app till i had the all clear from the nurse xx

I saw nurse at 1 wek, im pretty sure they said i see surgeon at my next one. bloody hope so, dont wanna have to go back again.lol. its a 5/6 hour trip, arrgghhh. xx

it depends on the clinic shazzy, i seen the nurse at 1 week too, but some clinics do 3 follow up app and sum seem to do 2, i think its just varies over the country xx

I think i had post op pictures at 1st week app. but cant remember. how sad is that., Im blonde for a reason.lol. xx

I’v got my 6 week check on thursday with the nurse – i don’t get to see my surgeon till i’m 3 months post op – i’m gonna go in my sports bra but take my big girls bra with me to put on when i leave x

I’ve been for my 1 week check today and saw the nurse. She done my dressings then took after pics.

I then had to book for my 6 week check and thats wih the surgeon x

They must do it differently with each surgeon then, i know a few see their surgeon at 6 weeks and others at 3 months…xx

Thats what i thought fairydust…My boobs look odd at the moment to me, so im looking forward to seeing the surgeon. xx

Ok, just had another look. I wouldn’t say they were wonky. The right one in the picture looks fuller and more ball like (ie-the curve at the top) but I would of just put that down to having to look at them as two seperate ops and them healing and dropping at different rates? x
