Im 6 days po and I’d quite like to start sleeping back in my bed again. Been on the sofa since Saturday night. It’s a comfortable sofa but a bit sick of being upright now. When can I lie down? Is there a specific time length I have to sleep upright? I had 380 unders xx

hi babe the first 3 days are the most important if you feel up to it then go back to bed just get a few pillows behind you so your still on abit of a slant and if you have a V pillow sleep with it every night hehe im 28days post op and my V Pillow is still my best friend but i was sleeping on my back on day 6 xxx

Your swelling takes longer to subside if your not upright, swelling needs to go down your body that’s why the head and cheat must be elevated at 45 degrees at least

I only lasted 3 nights sleeping half sat up, I was in agony with my neck and back and just couldn’t do it. It didn’t make a difference to me fortunately and the swelling went down as it would have if I’d have slept upright. xx

I always end up flat in my back in the morning there’s no way I can sleep upright for 8 hours lol ;)
