Is this normal?

Had my op over a week ago now and had the strapping off but underneath where my scars are I can feel the implant slightly at the bottom!?

Hi @brooke I have the exact same thing!!! Had mine like 9 days ago and nurse took the dressings off yesterday – she said they looked fine and were healing well! But it wasn’t till I got home that I felt and can kind of see the implant underneath scar! So
I assume it is normal because they drop anyway don’t they? But I’d like to see what other people say too! Are you allowed to put creams on yours yet? X x

@annie1016 Yeah yours sound exactly the same as mine! It feels/ looks awful at the moment i do hope they begin to drop soon! No not yet, I’m not sure when to start applying cream!? X

@brooke93 mine do feel a bit wierd! Just have to give it time I suppose! Well my friend put creams on straight after dressings came off but nurse said another week or two!!!! I just don’t want the scars to get too bad. Good luck with your recovery 🙂 I’ve added you hope that’s okay x
