Hi laura I was in a 36d sports bra but the d in a normal bra wasn’t big enough! Feels so nice to put a proper bra on again lol x

Kitty hun the pain was fine, I have a 2yr old and 7yr old and I was find with them. Feel free to add me if you want to see my pics x

lol that’s fab hun, isn’t it a great feeling didn’t realise just getting measured could make you feel so great. New experience for me I’ve never bothered getting measured in the past with me little chicken fillets lol xx

Haha, I hear you hun! Although wearing the bras only for a few mins managed to irritate my scars a bit :( but then I have had some trouble with them healing, so I suppose it’s to be expected. xx

Try the debenhams soft support bra hun, it’s still supportive gives a much nicer shape but doesn’t dig in at all. Have a look at the black bra I’m wearing in my pics, Ok it’s not really sexy but much nicer than a sports bra and still gives decent support :) xx

That bra looks lovely in fairness! I will definitely invest, because these sports bras only go so far! What size implants did you get, hun? x

Yey! Faye you must be dead pleased your 6 week post op pic is great, to be able to achieve a cleavage in a sports/support bra is some achievement. Really pleased for you.

Laurakate – what trouble have you had in healing? I had my 7 day check today and been asked to go back on monday and had to have some more strips put on my scars. I have quite a bit of bruising also. Were you the same? x

Well I had infections in both wounds, but one side was quite a lot worse than the other. The surgeon said that it might’ve been my body not agreeing with the dissolvable stitches. I was put on 2 weeks worth of antibiotics, and then using sterile dressings and ointment for another 3 weeks, and now the infection has gone- thank god. I didn’t have much bruising, only one on my side. What have they said about yours? x

Ouch that sounds sore. Are you feeling better now? Well the nurse said I was fine but very swollen still and numb. When I got home I had a closer look and one looks very red at the bottom but she didn’t say she thought I was infected. I’m now wondering if that’s why she wants me to go back on Monday and hasn’t suggested an infection to avoid me worrying. Here comes the paranoia! I will try not to think about it and just see what happens on Monday x

Don’t worry about the numbness, hun. I’m still numb from the nips down and I’m 2 months post op. Signs of an infection: weeping wounds (pus not blood), angry looking incision area and any green/browny colours on the scabs of the wounds. When you take your dressings off I would keep a close eye on them daily for any signs of infection. I was told that if the infection reaches the implant then it could be big trouble, so you need to catch it soon. If you think you might have an infection, don’t put anything on the wounds, just go straight to your surgeon/the docs for antibiotics. xx

Thanks for the info that will help. I haven’t had any weeping at all and although it looks red I can’t see the scabs as they’re covered with strips. I haven’t been given any more antibiotics either I’ve got 1 day left on them. I’ll keep watching it like a hawk then! Appreciate your help x x

Don’t worry about it yet, hun. My body isn’t very good at healing, it’s been the same with piercings etc. I’m sure you will be fine. xx
