Itchy scars?

Hi girls, I’m 2 days post op and have woken up this morning with really itchy boobs where the wounds are… Has anyone else had this nd should I be worried? Feeling so smelly and ugly and sore if anyone can offer asome advice it would be so appreciated!!!x

Im two days post op, they dont feel itchy but definately a bit more sore than yesteday who did yours and what did you have? I know some use huge bandages and i dont have them, just two small ones.

I feel rank too have you tried getting someone to wash you down with a warm flannel and a bit of shower gel? Also, dry shampoo <3 love the stuff!! x

Itchy is good thing!.. Means they are healing! Usually means new skin is growing and the scabs are surfacing and will come off eventually.. Xx

Hey Rachael, Im 4 days post op and my boobs are soo itchy as well, especially where the cuts are. I had dr Adamo and he only puts small bandages, which is nice, coz washing is a bit of a pain. I think its normal to be itchy hun, one of my boobs seems to be healing much slower as well and has this weird sensation, like theres air in the boob…also that one is still very numb on the top. x

I know how u feel hun i itch and feel gross 2 x i had a little wash yesterday but im so scared of raisein my arms an rippin the stitchs xx

I feel like i have water bombs in there lol x x

Girls thank you so much, feel so much better knowing we’re all going through the same thing!! I had mr traynor and had 380 unders, they’re enormous right now and feel under my armpits and solid!!! So glad the itching is normal and a good sign, I’ll def ask my boyfriend to wash me down! From what I’ve read it sounds quite common to have one healing before the other… Thank u for all your help girls x x x

Rach the forum is great isnt it Im also glad im not the only one feelin so like a complete minger lol my boobies are rockhard atm but less so everyday xx

What did you have hush? I’m also really struggling with this sitting up thing keep sinking down in my pillows and realising ive not been propped up for ages haha x

I had 525cc overs on wendesday hun Ive got 4pillows,2 v pillows and cushions and my back and bum are numb lol! last nite i had one of them diclofenac tablets and i was out like a light felt like i was time travelin lol when did u have ur op hun?xx

I had mine on Friday… Think the tablets are making me feel sick too, how much can I not wait for this to be over!! X

Rach before u know it we will have forgotten all this Shaz,its not pain its just feelin so dirty! im goin to try and have a shower on a chair and cover my bandages ln cling film lol xx

I definitely feel better every day. The first day was REALLY bad for me, as I had problems after the anaesthetic. Now 4 days on I feel like a human again lol although still havent really left my room. Have some mates cumin over today so might have a sneaky glass of wine (such craving) haha.

Yeah,today im feelin alright First 2days i just thought omg this is goin to go on forever! i just hate feelin unclean but not long and we will be able to have proper showers its so goin to be worth the discomfort we can wear what we like in summer wahey xx

The thought of little strappy summer dresses makes me smile xx

Racheal were you at Rochdale? I was there too. What size were you before? Mine feel under my armpits too, they are very very very hard and swollen ! xxx

Also, are you wearing your post op bra? I wasnt advised anthing about the bra when i was discharged home on saturday so i havent been wearing one xxx

Mr Adamo told me that bra is not necessary. But to be honest I feel so much more comfortable with the bra on than without so im wearing it 24-7!!!

Its up to u I think, but for me its bra all the way x

Hi sazzler, I was an empty b before… What about you? I’ve been wearing a really loose sports bra-mr t said not to wear one (or wear a really loose one) but yeah don’t think it matters too much like pbeebee said. I’m feeling poorly this morning and a bit teary ‘( x

I was a 32a. I think id be more comfortable wih a bra on! I felt a bit like that yesterday but i am okay today, i think it seems to be part of the process Just think this time in 6 weeks we will be able to go out bra shopping!! Woop woop!! Where are you having your post op follow up? Mine is on friday, ive just booked in to get my nails done and going to have a bit of a pamper to make me feel better ! xxx

I’m having mine in manchester on Thursday.. Think I’ll brave a shallow bath, not sure I can manage a trip out yet… X have fun!! Xx
