I had my 3 month check up was told I may need a re op as one breast is bigger and different shape to the other, I go back in January to find out if this is the case and until then been shown how to massage my smaller breast 60 times each day which may help it settle,

As anyone experienced this , or had to have a re op and do they do both breasts or just the one, being honest I’m not happy with either and would like them both re done if i am going to have to have one redone.

I presume not because The surgeon did say don’t worry your covered for 5 years, I paid 4,250 I can’t afford to pay again. I’m really frustrated as befor my op when I had my consultation he said it would be straight forward op as my boobs were symmetrical, their clearly not symmetrical now! People have asked why ones bigger! It’s so Embarrassing and upsetting.

I have that aswell. My left breast is bigger and a better shape to my right. I am only 4 wks po tomorrow. So hopefully will settle down. I will ask my surgeon at my check up. xx Good luck. xx

Hey kateycakes, I have the same problem. I mentioned it at all my check ups and the nurse said it’s early days, don’t worry etc etc. I brought it up with my surgeon at the 3 month check and after I said how much I hated my rightie, she looked and said ‘there is a small difference, I can fix it but you’ll need another op.’

There’s a massive difference not a small one but if she sorts it out I’ll be happy. I’ve got another appointment with the surgeon sometime in January. Hopefully we can then discuss a date for a re op. What were you n what did you have? I was 32a (very symmetrical apparently) and had 380 unders. X
