Hi girls, I thought I would write a post as I’m awake!
Yesterday was my op day at London Fitzroy – my admission time was 9am, my partner and I arrived just before 9am and were taken up to my room – I have a private room due to being an overnight stay. It’s nice and clean and has a TV which has been a godsend!
My surgeon – Linda Fiumara came up and drew on me about 11 and I went down to surgery for 1. God knows what time girls go down who have their admission time at 3?!! Anyway, I was walked into surgery and didn’t feel TOO nervous but was shaking because I hadn’t eaten / drunk all day. There was some struggle getting the cannula in because I was cold – but the nurses and anaesthetic were great! Next thing I know is the room going blurry and then waking up in recovery!
Initially my nipples were sore due to the mastopexy I suppose, I was given some liquid morphine and other painkillers a while later about 6pm. I haven’t had anything since then until just now as feeling a little tight and tender.
I had been getting really nervous leading up to my op but was quite chilled on the day – there is really nothing to worry about.
I had 350hp and 300mp due to assymetry- feel free to follow my insta @ba.modmasto.mya17 to follow my journey.
All the best, it’s a roller coaster of emotions but I’m sure it’s all worth it!
Daisy. X
