It's finally done

Just thought I’d share my ongoing journey from the hospital bed. I’ve had a small reduction and uplift, I was wearing an f cup but they were heading south by the day thanks to breastfeeding and the sheer weight of them. So admission time was 1pm yesterday. The nurses are truly amazing I was somewhat sceptical about everyone saying how nice they are but it’s true. Mr Marcelino came and did my drawings about 2pm and I went down for surgery at 4.30pm. By this time I was beyond hungry lol. Was in theatre 2 1/2 hours. The anethetist was great and I don’t remember anything other than talking about vodka ????. I had drains left in which have been quite uncomfortable but obviously necessary. And I think I managed to sleep about three hours in total. I found the plastic pillows made me soooo hot. So it’s now 7am im waiting for the drains to be removed but pain wise it’s ok. Can’t see my new boobs ATM but they feel much more in proportion. I’ll post pics once drains are out.
Ladies rest assured your in the best place hand on heart these nurses are second to none! X

Timing wise it sounds very similar to my op day… You must have been the last surgery of the day and by that point all thats on the mind is food and drink.
I remember talking about vodka to the anaesthetist too, he must think all the girls are a bunch of severe alcoholics hahahaaaa.

How are you feeling now drains are out?

Hi rea,
I found he drains so uncomfortable. Taking them out was a strange sensation. Much better now. How long did you take pain relief for? Xx
