It is literally a pain in the bum isn’t it! I have to start off totally upright, then if I slip down a little bit in the night, its not too bad. My main problem is my bum going numb! It can be awkward depending on your headboard too. My headboard slants backwards which makes it easier. I think keeping your shoulders raised helps bring the swelling down. Won’t be for too much longer hun-hold in there!

I hate sleeping upright, I’m 3 days post op and it’s doing my head in. I woke up with the worst headache this morning ;( not a good start xx

Girls I had the same problem, I was one-week post op by the time I could start laying down and getting up wihout any pain or having to strain myself. The only reason why you have to sleep upright in the first place is to stop you from rolling on your sides in the night and to reduce the pain of having to sit up in morning..it does get easlier girls promise…xxx
