Had my Ba yesterday. Just wanted to share my experience as I found chatting to you girls sooo helpful beforehand.
The worst thing was the waiting beforehand (I went down about 12.15). The anaesthetic was a lovely feeling. Before I knew it I was waking up & talking a load of rubbish to the nurse in recovery (I was very happy on the morphine I had recieved!!) For the next hour or so I just dozed. I wasn’t in any pain or discomfort. The only thing I struggled with was feeling sick but this soon passed. By 3pm I was awake & really very excited & just wanted to get home! As I stayed in over night the day dragged. Just watched TV & chilled out. The nurses checked on me regularly, constantly checking my blood pressure.
The nurse gave me some painkillers about 10pm just to help throughout the night but I still felt generally ok, just tight really.
I have to say my first nights sleep wasn’t a great one. Firstly the nurse was in checking on me every 2 hours & trying to sleep upright was really uncomfortable. I hope it gets easier!!
Today has been a bit more uncomfortable but by no means unbearable. The nurse took the dressings of this morning so I could actually see my breasts for the first time (I am soooo pleased with them- it is such an amazing feeling). Then the doctor came & gave me some painkillers & antibiotics to take away. Back home now & just chilling out. Can’t wait for my new boobies to start settling now.
I had 380’s overs from a 34A. Currently wearing a 34D bra although the 34DD fits quite nicely as well. I hope they don’t go down too much! I had Dr Chantarsak who was & is amazing- can not fault him at all.
I have some photo’s (although I did forget to take some pre i’m afraid). I will post in a few days time when I can add some more.
Hope this helps for those thinking of getting a BA done- I have absolutely no regrets at all!! Feel free to ask any questions.
Thank you to everyone as well who has supported me beforehand & answered my questions.

Ahh thanks pinkbutterfly. I’ve accepted your friend request so when I get my piccy’s up you can have a peek. I can not fault any stage of the process so far. Good luck with everything. Keep us posted with how your getting on. xxx
Hi Danielle, so nice to hear good stories, makes it a little less worrying!
Have been hearing great things about Dr C, including my friend having him last year. Have sent you a request.

Rebecca
Congratulations hun!! Glad yours all went well!
How are yours feeling in a bra? I had my BA yesterday and just put a bra on and had the worst shooting pains in my chest, wondering if this is normal or not! xxx
Yeah i’ve heard loads of positive stories about Dr C & like I said I can not fault him at all. He knows what will suit your frame & what will look the most natural on you if thats what your after. There are surgeons who will give you bigger if you want but I wanted to stay as natural as poss which Dr C is known for. I’ll accept your friend request now. All the best for sat- hope it all goes well. Its so exciting!! xxx
Hi Gemmalouise. Hope your op all went well?? I’m currently wearing my sports bra at the moment which feels ok. I’ve had some odd sensations but not shooting pains. The nurse did warn me though that you can get shooting pains where the nerves are trying to repair & knit back together. I think it all sounds normal but I would ring your nurse if you are concerned.
Happy healing & enjoy your new assets xxxxx
We’re so happy for you danielle84! Get plenty of rest and happy healing.
