I’ve got big boobies!!!!

Hi just a quick post to say I had my ba done yesterday at Highgate with Mr Singh!

Everything went as planned, got there for 10am, got shown to my room. Lovely en suite, sky tv etc etc. Nurse came round to fill in the necessary paperwork and give me my lovely gown, paper pants and stockings!! The aneathatist came round to say hi and Mr Singh came round to draw on me and tell me he was running a bit late!!

So I had a bit of a wait in my room drooling whilst watching my hubby eat his nice 3 course meal whilst I was starving!!!

Before I knew it the nurse came and got me, went down to theatre. The lovely aneathatist kept me chatting and relaxed whilst he put the drip in my hand, said sweet dreams and the next thing I knew I was waking up in recovery about an hour 15 mins later.

Felt ok, apart from very tired and woozy and like my chest was suddenly a lot heavier!

Spent the next couple of hours in and out of sleep in my room, had some toast in between. Nurse came round every now and then to check on me and take blood pressure etc.

Was in as a day case so left about 8pm for the 2 hour drive home. Had my v pillow with me and slept pretty much all the way. Got home, had a cuppa then slept all through the night – propped up!!

Have felt ok today, just been taking it easy on the sofa, taking my pain killers every 4 hours and getting hubby to do as much as poss!! In laws are here looking after my little boy so, so far so good!! Just feel like I’ve got an elephant stuck on my chest ha ha!!

Looking forward to the swelling etc going down. Not wearing a bra at the mo as Mr Singh straps up – lots! So no need until it comes off next week!

Hi congrats, hope you are feeling ok and not too sore. Can I ask did they know you were going home, I thought you had to stay in a hotel nearby???? I’m not sure what time mine is yet I forgot to ask so not too sure if I’m going to have to stay Sunday night and Monday night. x

Hi girls, not in pain as such – more stiff
and uncomfortable but really not that bad. I told them I was staying about an hour or
so away as was planning on staying with family. But when we left I felt ok and so thought I might as well go home to my own bed rather than put it off until the next day. Think the ga was still in my system a bit so slept
all the way. When I spoke to the aneathatist he said
he would just make sure I could walk around etc
if I was travelling home.
Don’t be worried about it, I think the more relaxed u are about it the easier it is. The ga is fine, very peaceful and just remember to take it easy x

hey neeny i had mine done 2 and my story is same as urs!!haha not in much pain as such just feel like my chest being crushed!!! not even taken my pain killers….i had 340 overs in the end as my muscle wasnt developed enough for unders which i was planned to have but hey ho i have big boobies!!! all so worth it. im strapped up to the neck which is pretty annoying looking forward to that coming of tues mr singh said 4 days to me? the ga was fine the hospital staff were very nice and made me feel so relaxed, overall great experiance just looking forward to being healed and back to normal… glad yours went well to xx

Glad yours went well too ladies. I’m having my strapping off on tues too daisy – thank god!! Will keep in touch to see how we’re all getting on x
