the surgeon sed i might not have enough skin to go to a d cup he was going to make me a c but after the op he sed ther was enough room so i am a 32dd which i was pleased about.i think after u get used to the size you feel u want to go bigger.

Just reading your comments girls and im having mine done on the fith o June I’m B/C now and i wanted to go to a DD but surgeon said I had to go to an E!!! bit worried they may be too big for me… And i’m having unders as what happens when you have them over the musle do they look better or something? x

Hiya!!! I had a 32a flat chest 10 years ago and was only given the option of a 340cc. The surgeon at the time said this is all he could fit in!!! 10 years on and I have my op booked with mya on the 3rd of june….guess what having either 615 or 700cc!! The thing is all those years ago when i woke up with 340 cc I thought wow…anything was better than a 32a. Now Im bored with a C they look small and I want bigger!!! Its mad how you get use to your boobs and what was big then is small now!!! I want bigger and am getting bigger must be mad!!!…joking ladies … cant wait!!!xxx

Yes I was 32/34A and I am now a 34C
I asked for 340’s and when I got there the morning of my Op they had ordered 300 and only had 350 (which I hasent to add the surgeon advised me not to have before this event). I went with the 300’s as it was really hard being put on the spot and now I feel so depressed they are not what I wanted and they seem small.

Dont know what to do

Would do it all again but cannot afford to and dont feel I should pay for it again when they were at fault

Since Sep last year and still not happy their big enough
Anyone any ideas?

Maybe I will write a letter, do we have rights as a patient?

Hi, i had 340cc overs and was really dissappoined with the size, i wanted to go from a b to a dd (surgeon only recommended 240cc!!!!!) put i pushed for the bigger size. Now theyre still not big enough and im so annoyed i spent all that money and didnt get the size i wanted as i ended up a C!!
I am trying to save for another boob op so can have it asap and want the biggest ones they can get in me, then i wont be dissappointed!! I want at least 700cc, and hope they can fit in?!
I dont think big implants look silly at all, i think on a small frame it looks good too, im a size 6, 5 foot 2 and want really really big boobs, when i told the patient coordinator and surgeon they just said id look silly and so i backed down to 340’s. Now i wish i had known they would end up a C, as it was soooo far off what i wanted and want to complain!
Does anyone know how much/been quoted on how much it is to have an implant replaced with a larger size?
Also has anyone else felt the same and feel like they were pushed into having a smaller size than they had actually wanted? im soo annoyed and want bigger!!

I’m slightly disappointed. I wasn’t pushed into having a smaller size than i wanted because i actually had quite a big implant (525cc) but i really thought they would be bigger than they are!! I haven’t measured them but i reckon i’m about a D…and i was a B before…
Don’t get me wrong..they are really nice…but didn’t realise that they would be this small…if i did i would have wanted 700cc!!!

I have booked to have my op in August, however bit confused about having 460 or 525cc. I am also a size b.
Did you try a bra on with these in on your consultation? if so do you think that you are smaller now than when you tried it on? I felt really big with the 525cc in so i was thinking of having the smaller size. surgeon suggested overs for me
Can i b cheeky and ask what size are you, im a 36b and 9stone 10, and 5ft4.

No of course it’s fine!
im a size 12/14…hence why i went with the larger implant because i can get away with it (more in proprortion)
I tried the implannt with my normal bra in the consultation…not a sports bra..and they did look really really big then.
I had overs aswell too.
On one hand i would say to you to go for the bigger ones because quite a lot of ppl on here are saying that they wished they had gone bigger..
On the other hand.. i would say go for the smaller ones because 525 are quite big for your frame…but if the surgeon said they will look ok?!
However, i think it depends on the person..(fat, tissue, width bla bla bla) because ive seen ppl on here who have gone to a FF with the 525 implant!!!

I just wish they had an implant which stated dd etc it would be so much easier for us, and at least we would know exactly what size we would be after.
I have also read and spoken to people who have had 525cc and gone to ff .
Never mind i have three weeks to make mind up.

im having my BA in oct, what cc did u go for. im size 8/10 5 ‘9 and have been recommended 340 under, im gonna go for 380 mayb 400 tho as i want make sure they big hw i want them. what are ur stats are u same as me?

i had 410cc overs high profile
definetly defintely definetly go for the biggest size! otherwise u might wake up disappointed and wishing you had gone bigger!
originally my surgeon mr traynor advised 3 sizes :340cc, 360cc and 380cc. i said 380cc but after the consultation i was a bit concerned this would be too small, so i contacted my pc and she agreed to order the 410cc for me and then mr traynor could decide on the day of the op whether or not he could fit them in! and thankfully he agreed to put in the 410cc! yay

wow thanx sarah that is really helpful, im def going bigger! you sound like u have small but tall frame like me but im currently 32aa (hate them!) and i want a d to dd minimum, i will not be happy if i wake up with a small c which i have read sooo many storys when this happens to girls and they sound dissapointed. what size bra do u fit in now then and how long since u had ur BA? do u love them i just cant wait im so excited…..xxxx

Hi girls, defo take the biggest size you can. I had 410cc HP unders taking me from 34A to 34DD in January and I’m meeting with Singh next month to discuss a reop, hope to have it in December if he agrees. Cant wait. So disappointed with the size.

Ive recently had BA with 340cc over with MYA
i wanted to go from a small B to a large D or DD but the surgeon only recommended 260cc. I couldnt see how that would take me to the size i wanted so i insisted i wanted 340cc at least.
After having the 340cc, i am only a C cup and was very disappointed after the swelling went down, and feel upset as after spending all that money this was not the size I wanted, (i swear they are still shrinking) so already am looking to plan another BA with a larger implant size. It just seems like i went through the procedure and spent all that money for nothing…
Does anyone else feel the same? Or did everyone else get the size they wanted?

Hi Char,i went from a size A/B to DD and i got 525cc implants on the left boob and 460cc on the right because of the assimetry and it was done under the muscle aswell.I am happy with the results but they do shrink a lot dont they? i was getting worried but its been 2 months now and they they look really nice.Did you talk to your surgeon about this? what did he say about you not being happy with the results? xx

Ye i was a small b cup and wanted at least a d, but i only had mine done last week and now the swellings gone, there not as large as i wanted, i have a consultaion with my patient coordinator this friday so will tell her then. I just dont understand why the surgeon recommended such small implants when he knew i wanted to be at least a D, he recommended 230/260’s!! When i said he wanted larger he gave me a hard time i had 340s which arnt even that big! Everyone else seems to have bigger ones and i wish i had the sizes you had ! I just want them done again, the right size, but then i have to wait until these ones heal, save up and go through it all again!
Did u get to see your surgeon after the operation? Can i ask which one you had?

well i started as a 34c had 365cc overs and i am nowa 34 e maybe f, and sometimes i feel like thay are the same as before.i think we get used to them and i am always looking at them too thats also why i think mine arnt that different when actually they are.i think u r probably just used to them.

I know! my surgeon was soo shocked when i wanted 340s saying they will look way too big and wont fit my body shape but now theyre in, theyre not that big at all! Its so decieving!!

hi girls, just reading your comments, i had my consultation with surgeon dr. traynor last week. im currentley a 34a and he has suggested i have 300cc overs. im worried this size is going to be too small. i had a baby 10 mths ago and he said i could go over as i had enough tissue but i dont think i have and im scared you will be able to see the implant if i go for a bigger size, if he will let me. has anyone else had this problem? thanx.:confused:xx

Hi mandy, no i think if u went slightly bigger it will be ok. i was an a/small b and had 340s over he said u may be able to see the implant outline but you cant at all, im happy with the shape, its just i wanted mine bigger, they took me to a c instead of a d. What size do u want? Everyone usually wants bigger than the surgeon ( i know i did, he only recommended 230s/260s and i said no!!) if u had gone with the size he recommended he they would have turned out really far off the size i was aiming for, im glad i didnt go with the smaller implants.
it just depends on what size u want to be at the end. after u have it done at first they are swollen, i was happy then but then they shrunk a lot after it went down and was a little disappointed. Ive spoken to a few people and they also wish they went bigger, its upto u but to avoid disappointment could go larger? If u have the breast tissue there already then they will look more natural, i didnt have much tissue so the surgeon said they may look ‘stuck on’ but they dont at all and turned out really natural looking.

hi char & linia, thanx for your replies, i want to be a full c, d cup. i did tell the surgeon this but he has only gave me 300s and told me the same as you, that if i go bigger they would look stuck and un-natural and you would be able to see the implant. i think i will go back and see the surgeon and demand bigger!! i just dont want that dissapointment at the end, saying i wish i hadve gone bigger! coz thats what im thinking already. ive also heared that if you want bigger, you should go under the muscle to avoid seeing the implant, not sure how true this is. thanx char, youve helped a lot. xxx

mandy u will definetly get to a c cup with 300cc,s you no wat everyone is different tho,sometimes people only get like 200ccs for example and end up a bigger size.trust the surgeon he nows how to get u to the size u want

i am the same i had my conceltation last wedensday i wont to be a dd i am currently a 32b but when the surgon looked at me he said i was a a/b and i have picked 380cc so
i hope this size gives me a d cup i am going over . but i am thinking of asking to see mr traynor again as the are a few things i am unsure about like is this the biggest implant
i can have for my size. i dont wont them too big but at least a d cup. i am 5ft 2 and a size 10 .i think 300cc are a bit small.

kellg, i rang the co-ordinator and she said i could book again to see the surgeon when he is nxt in liverpool on the 20th may to go over things again and to put my mind at rest. this time i will write it all down as there was a lot i forgot to ask! i think you should book to see him again to if you can. thats what i want to know to, if thats the biggest size implant for them to look big but natural and also are they gonna be high profile, low etc. coz im really worried that 300s will be too small. its so hard to choose because no matter how much you look at other boobs, weve all got individual bodies that are gonna look different even with the same size implants!! ill let you know how it goes when i go and c him. good luck. xxx
