I’ll be 4 weeks post op this Saturday and it’s killing me not being able to attend none of my gym classes or train for weightlifting or Taekwondo! I seriously can’t take it anymore and I think it’s probably the reason why I’ve been feeling so down about my boobs lately.

I’m fully back to work now and been able to skip with the kids and do little jogs with them pain free, so surely I should be ok if I take it easy in the gym especially with the weights or maybe just work on my lower body? Need to get me a very good sports bra now :/

Sorry to rant, but I’m sure the ladies on here who used to be SO much more active pre-op can agree with me…

    Anyone hear my cry? :‘(

i often stand in my gym and dribble (got a gym at home) and i am itching to get in there!! im almost 4 weeks po (fri)… but going to follow my surgeons advice, that way if anything goes wrong i know its down to my surgeon and not me.

im doing fast walks back from school and generally able to do lots more around the house. i havnt gained much weight, but the toned bits prefer gravity right noW! lol

Haha @toned bits prefer gravity! I second you on that one. The first few days of having to sleep sitting up has damaged my ass! Dying to get back on my protein shakes and have that “just left the gym” exhausted feeling back :(

I can totally understand and empathise with you. Pre op I went to the gym every day! I got so inactive and felt so flabby. When I went to my two week check mister Russo was very adamant about gym and exercise he said not before six weeks! The implant is still setting into it’s pocket and can easily be displaced. I know it’s hard but you spent so much money and two more weeks is a fraction of what you have already waited. Please be careful if you do go! :-)

I’m planning on keeping the protein shakes up (1 or 2 a day) should help with healing and recovery. This is probably what I’m dreading most about my op, not being able to go to the gym :-(
