just bawled my eyes out, im so angry

as you all know MYA and their ‘after care’ have struck again, two wasted days, a shed load of money spent, and an empty lost feeling inside, have well and truly annoyed me, so much iv just sat and cried talking to my fella about how shoddy this whole thing has been! third appointment cancelled, and the second time its been within an hour of my appointment, when it takes me well over to get to a clinic (i live in carlisle, and used newcastle for the initial and manchester, supposedly, yesterday), all i get is ‘im truly sorry’ and a short explanation, of why yet again, iv been fobbed off!

well as its now driven me to complete tears at the lack of after care and communication, both me and my partner have come to the conclusion that im getting these implants taken out with another company, and replaced through them. as i dont know if anything is actually wrong with them (im not a medical professional so i personally dont know), and i dont know if i can ever have another appointment with MYA (and im not travelling to leeds or birmingham from carlisle, its cost me enough travelling for eff all!) because they are so feckless! im so angry and upset, and a load of cash lighter for the pleasure of it

sorry to rant, but girls need to know what actually goes on here, and the things that need changed, but dont xx

Do you not like your results? Is that why you want them taken out and replaced?? – Personally I think yours look bloody amazing!!

Joannabella…ur not alone, I´m paying again to hv my ruptured implant removed and will probably have the “good” implant removed too becos I´m scared that the same thing will happen to it…8 months po and looking at another 4k to be where I was 8 months ago…I´m sure mya would sort my issues out..however I WILL NOT FLY with a ruptured implant…x and I truly wish I´d left well alone and been grateful for what mother nature gave me..

I’m sorry to hear this hun, but I really wouldn’t advise having your implants taken out if there’s nothing wrong with them. You will have to wait a year before you can have an implant/explant operation anyway and by then you will be done with MYA. I just think it seems a little extreme for you to go through another op just because your pissed off with them xxx

Aww sounds like you’ve got good reason to feel upset and angry, the way you’ve been treated sounds awful and not what you expect when you pay that much money for something! Do you know why the keep cancelling? Please don’t make any rash decisions while you’re feeling like this though.

Do you feel in yourself like there are any problems with your implants (which is why you mention having them replaced)? I know you’re fed up with trying with them but if you do feel there is cause for concern or you need your mind putting at ease, you should really try contacting them again saying you need to see someone as a matter of urgency somewhere convenient to you since your scheduled aftercare appointment still hasn’t happened and you’re not getting the proper aftercare you were supposed to get.

Hopefully you can really push to get your travel expenses reimbursed given that they were cancelled at such short notice and you’ve had to travel all over. x

I think having your implants removed and new ones put in is a little drastic. I have had to have one of my implants removed and I am devestated. I cannot have another one put back in for 4-6 weeks minimum and some surgeons make you wait 4-6 months to allow the muscle heal. You obviously haven’t had any problems with them and they look great. If you replace them you are 50% more likely to suffer from capsule contraction and your risk of contracting an infection is much higher ( believe me you don’t want that). I think the best thing you can do is insist you get a check up and soon also talk to them about being reimbursed for the wasted travel you have had. Seriously think about it before you have them removed. X
