My pc just messaged me to say my surgeon is concerned the macom i had on wouldnt be supportive enough for the size of implants I have – 420/460 cc unders. So confused as I thought macom was the best bra to wear! Been told to wear Asda or M&S sports bra instead so now i’ve wasted money on macom for no reason.

Is anyone else wearing a macom who has had 420/460 cc unders from a 32a?? Did you find it supportive enough? advice please xxx

Agree with Laura, what a load of balls!

The macom is the surgeons choice.

I had 400/445 overs and I have 2 macoms which I wear 24/7 – they have been a goodsend. Now at 6 weeks, still wear for bed! x

ah girls thank you so much!! This is exactley what I thought and it cost me so much to buy the macom I really want to be able to wear it! Im in a high impact M&S sports bra now while macom is in wash but im putting it straight back on after coz its soo comfy. Thanks girls :) x

there shouldn’t be any reason you cant wear a macom just because of the size implants you have. just wear whatever bras feel more comfortable for you and give you the most support x

470 cc here I switch between a macom and m & s bra. They’re both supportive it boils down to your own personal comfort I wore my macom mostly in the second week as the m and s bras felt too restrictive! X

Iv heard of some surgeons steering clear of Macoms, and preferring the sports bra, or Royce, as these styles offer a massive difference in support. Every surgeon says something different, my first one said no bra just a band for two weeks, iv heard of others saying wear nothing. It is best to listen to your surgeon though, as they performed the op, so have the best say

Loads of girls swear by their Macoms, I swore by my tesco high impact, and I’ll be going back to that for my re-op xx

I wore mine 24/7 with my 495s and never heard of it not being supportive enough! Infact its what I was advised to get. Just do what’s best for you, lots of girls just wear bandeaus or go braless purely cus its too hot at the mo. X

George at asda sports bras are in a pack of 2one black and one white for £7!!! They are supportive and come in bigger sizes absolutely fantastic bras and for the price you can buy a load- obviously buy what suits you best but these are great they have a really thick strap so no digging in on your shoulders or underneath . I had 800s yesterday and I’m wearing a 36 g now .x

I’m having Mr Kazzazi and was told not to bother paying £30 for a Macom when the M&S front zip up sports bra is just as good. My PC said Mr Kazzazi doesn’t beleive in spending a load of money on something when M&S are just as good, so it’s not that he doesn’t recommend them, he just thinks they’re a lot of money when the M&S ones are £19.50. The Macom does look really supportive though. The Royce front fastening does too
