HI Ladies, yesterday i just booked up my BA with Mr A for next week wed. I ve wanted this for so long but didn’t expect it to be so short notice. DO you think this is too soon? iv managed to sort out childcare for my son for a week with his dad. so i will have some time to heal without a toddler running about!! but i havent even told my mum because i know she will be so negative. iv just put in a holiday request for work for 3 weeks so hopefully they will grant this in time. other then that, what else do i need to do or to bring on wednesday? im so scared i wont have it all ready on time :( x x

I had my initial consult to surgery in 2 weeks so no ??- no time to worry about ot but I knew what I wanted had done tonnes of research and the only way I was having it done this yr to fit around my schedule was in that narrow slot!

they accommodated me and were great my PC and Mr Adamo- can’t fault my service and now 7weeks post off on holiday tomorrow :)

check out the bible thread I created at bottom of page will clue you up fairly quickly of what you need x

If you have been wanting it for ages then not at all!

At my consultation they offered me 6th Aug but the only day i couldnt do coz of a wedding ive got to go to. Then they said this weekend, i defo would have been up for that (10 days notice!) but partner couldnt get time off work for kids. So ive got to wait til 17th Sept!! :-(

No time to worry and you’ll love them :-) xx

Congrats on booking it, i think it is poss. Here are some of the things to do and consider that helped me.

Think about how u getting there and who picking u up

    Sort Yr sports bra out

Think about Yr overnight bag if necessary.

Take things to hosp, like things keep u occupied whilst waiting, snack in case. Sweets for sore throat post op.

When u get home, I too also did it myself.

Keep things at low height, cups plates

    Laxatives

Get shopping in before Yr op, something easy to cook.

Get someone to check up on u, my friend fed my cat and took my bins out, and brought me food.

    Good luck

    Xxx

lol!!! Thank royle babe!!! dont feel negative babes, the way i see it is these are the very last weeks and days that your body will look this way. once you have your op, everything will change and the body youve had for years will be so different. just try not to stress too much hun, as that can lead to other things. just chill and your time will come. im a firm believer of everything happens for a reason so dont stress, take your time everything will fall into place at the right time x x x

Not at all. I decided i was having mine then was in for the consult and booked the op and saw surgeon all in less than a week lol. Just make sure you have booked time off work and have the childcare sorted. And just tell your mum outright. She might not like it, and if anything like mine you’ll get anger, tears, disappointment, the whole works. But after the op she will be curious and worried about you. She’ll come around trust me ;) x
