Just got back from pre op that went from bad to worse!!!! Advice needed x

Time for a rant!!!! So went for pre op today at Highgate which went from bad to worse!!!!

Had an appointment with surgeon at 11:15am and then an appointment with nurse at 11:30.

After arriving in London I then discovered it was the biggest protest that London has ever seen with thousands of people. So they suspended parking outside Mya so then had to find alternative parking (Not knowing London very well) I found a parking space 5 minutes away. (The most expensive parking I have ever seen! (49p per 5 minutes) so paid £10 for 2 hours thinking it’ll be more than enough!

Got into Mya dead on 11:15 and wasn’t seen until 12pm. (45 minutes late)!!!!

Saw the surgeon who then informed me that he would recommend 380’s. (Few weeks ago he said I could either have 380 or 410’s) so my heart was set on 410cc.

After speaking with him he then said I could have 410 unders at a push but this comes at a risk of rippling and the nipple possibly not being in the center. (Didn’t tell me this at first appointment)!!!

I then asked him if he could order me 380’s and 410’s so I could decide on the day and he refused saying I needed to make a decision now. So in a panick I said 410’s.

Now I am majorly panicking that im gonna get that round look or my nipple will be really low down? What do you girls think I should do?? I feel sick that I didn’t have more time to decide.

So, going back to parking… Finally got back to car, after me telling the Mya girls how much longer is he gonna be, I’ve waited long enough and the time I had to get back to car, I then arrived to a 80 quid parking ticket.

To say the least im livid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t uderstand it. Funnly noughI was thinking about your boobs in there, thinking how can you be smaller than me to begin with and have 460 overs yet I can only have 410 unders absolute max and then my nipples not being in the right place. So don’t know what to do now.

Could you try and see another surgeon for a second opinion? x

you could always see another surgeon to get a second opinion, i think it must depend on the surgeon some are willing to give bigger than others, i was lucky as i was offered dr singh over the fone and seen and decided on my size before even sighing in here so nothing i seen on here was able to change my mind on what i wanted, i think things you see on here tend to make you doubt your descions xx

I could do but my op is 3 weeks today and haven’t got any other time available to go back up to london for the 3rd time. It’s quite a trek for me. He’s just made me nervous that he didn’t tell me all that in my first neeting with him.

I orginally went back to see him about going bigger to maybe 460 so to be told 380’s I was gutted. Now he’s made me petrified i’ve made the wrong decision with 410’s.

Hey Christine. Sorry hun have only just had a chance to look at your pics. They look fab & Your nipples look centre. Im guessing you had unders? and high profile? Are you in much pain? Had my heart set on overs because of the apparent pain but looks like im going under. x

I had unders and hp yeah, i had my op at 11:45 wednesday and went shopping thursday before going home, the only pain i’ve really had is on a morning after like 7hrs sleep, it’s hard to get up cos the pain is intnse but once your sat up after a few mins it goes again. xx

If you’d been seen on time would you have made it back before your ticket expired? If so I’d give parking ticket to MYA, its their fault you were late back to car, not yours, but thats just me. It may be worth seeing another surgeon if your not happy and worried. I had 380s with Mr Kazzazi, wasnt offered more than one size so didnt have a problem like this. xx

Maybe Mya will read this and offer you your parking ticket back. My surgeon offered to order me in 3 sizes, so did my pc. You should talk to your pc. xx

yea fairydust thats another thing, i wasn’t sure what size for sure i was having so my pc ordered me everysize from 260’s to 525’s xx

Hey, who is your surgeon?? I was also allowed to order a range of sizes which I did and chose right before my op, def try calling your PC and if you are not happy then I would def suggest perhaps seeing another surgeon!! Good luck, hope it all works out for you xxx

Hi Fairydust.. what a pain in the backside day you had! I rang my pc the other day to request another size to be ordered in as I am still not completely decided & my op is in 3 weeks..

I agree with samf81 tell mYa about your ticket.. it isnt on….

Hi Guys. Thanks hunny’s. I rang Mya as soon as I got back to my car to find the ticket and told them I was livid. If I wasn’t 40 minutes late I would of definatly made it back in plenty of time. I should of only been in there 45 minutes and ended up being there for 2 hours due to waiting! Mya said they needed to speak with one of the managers about it and she was currently in a meeting and said they would ring me straighr back. 3 hours later atill hadn’t heard anything so rang again and they said they’ve had to e-mail head office and I wouldn’t have an answer till Monday.

Already had to pay £12 for 2 hours without that added on top. It’s not like I didn’t tell them twice!

Surgeon was Fallahdar. He said he wasn’t willing to order 2 sizes and had to pick there and then because he didn’t want me to have a last minute decision on the day of surgery and if I couldn’t make a decision then i’d need to postpone my op.

After 10 years of waiting and 12 weeks since finally booking the last thing im gonna do is postpone! xx

Hi Hun. Thanks for posting. Ok so he lied then! When I saw him yesterday he said he used to do it (ordering dif sizes) but I no longer does because he doesn’t like girls making a decision last minute! Then made me decide there and then. (so had 2 minutes to decide) other wise he said to post pone op if I couldn’t decide!

Well when I saw him we were lookin at both sizes and when I left I wasn’t sure, spoke to my pc last week she said she’s ordered both sizes for me for the day. I’m seeing him on wednesday to double check a few things and I’m gonna talk about my pc saying both sizes hav been ordered for the say… so I’ll update u if u want??X

Thats ridiculous! Your paying so much money for this and its a major process and they are rushing you? I thought Mya actually cared about customer satisfaction and money wasnt their only intention? hmmm…. Defo stick by your guns in the request for new surgeon/ or ordering a range of different sizes! x

I’ve got Dr Fallahdar on Saturday….i’ve heard that he doesn’t like to give big implants, that he only likes to give natural looking implants that he thinks will be in proportion to your body. If you want to go big he’s not the surgeon to see…. i am 34b and was only offered 340 unders as highest, i was contemplating going back, booked a second consultation with him but cancelled last minute and just thought he knows best! I don’t really want unders either, would much rather overs. He said that because my boobs are quiite empty unders would help push them up but i thought unders were for girls who didn’t have enough skin to cover overs?? I don’t know, it’s all so confusing!!!! It’s definately not on to pressure you in to making a decision there and then, like the other girls said, you’re spending so much money that you want to feel comfortable and happy with your choice!

dont even get me started on london and its piss taking fines!!! its like big brother is watching. first time i went i got a congestion charge fine and driving in a bus lane fine ( id mearly crossed over it in the dark when lost) total of £185!!!!! then the nxt time i went was for a music video and the parking was £4 per hour!!!! what a flippin joke… was there all day , cost me £36 in parking alone!!! i hate the place with a passion, dunno why anyone wud wanna live there its a shithole!!! and they charge US for goin there… shud be paying me to go to that place not the other way around!!!!!!!!!!! rant over hahahaha xxxx

I would cancel my op with him as he sounds a dick…..i would then foward the ticket to MYA and re book with another surgeon huni x

omg! i had a consultation with him too….he offered 380cc and sed if i went with 410cc my nipples wld point down ! i cldnt understand it so went with 380cc but have asked my PC to order 410 after spkin to ppl on here!

he didnt even offer for me to try some sizes in a sports bra so im waiting til i see a nurse for my pre op and am guna ask about 460cc! as quite a few girls on here have same size as me now n gone for that size and look how i wana!

to be honest its what YOU want your boobs to look like not how HE thinks he wld like them! seen as he aint guna be seein them again after!!!

Im gonna stick with him now as i’ve only got 2 weeks and haven’t got time to keep going back to London (and getting fines)! Im gonna go for 410’s which will make me happy. It’s more than he said anyway but said he’s willing to do that but no bigger.

Sezza – I asked for 460 and he said no way and wouldn’t even recommend 410’s so we’ll see what he says to you. To be honest I’ve made my mind up now and im gonna have 410 unders which will get me hopefully to the size I wanna be.

Just was mift why it’s one rule for one and not the other in terms of ordering dif sizes. However, come to the conclusion that even if it was now or in 2 weeks I would still go for 410’s. lol.

And in terms of fine they said they won’t pay it because if you were in a hairdressers and ran over you wouldn’t get it back. Whatever!!!!!

Well u shouldn’t be rushed into anything n if the surgeon makes u uneasy then see another.

On the other hand, I don’t think it’s about size but more on each individuals as everyones natural boobs are different shape along with how nipples are as well.

I have seen a girl with large implants n the nipples is sitting up high n they look pretty bad but can easily be fixed.

To be honest, me n nikkis are still early stage but when they fully settle, the lower breasts will be heavier so nipples will be slightly higher but that’s what natural big boobs look like anyway.. Nipples aren’t suppose to sit in the centre… X

i wud reply to that….”but i wasnt in a hairdressers , i wasnt having my hair done , nor will i be spending £4000 in the hairdressers and do they want ur custome or not as there are many more surgeries happy to run on time

id also point out to them that u WILL get ur £80 back… when u go elsewhere and save £80 or more on ur surgery costs…. where as, instead of losing £80, theyve now lost themselves £4000 and a recommendation xxxxxxx

My lovelies, Im over this now but was pretty angry when I got home which is why I posted.

My only issue was the size thing and ticket but im just gonna have to pay ticket because I have 1 week to pay it other wise it doubles in price and can’t see Mya paying it in one week and think im gonna stick with the size I chose. xxx

Hi Farydust, I have to admit I have only just seen this so I am sorry it was missed. This is a really hard one as the surgeon is the expert here and we really do have to rely on his or her judgment. They have been operating for many years and each patient does need to be treated on an individual basis – what is right for one is not necessarily right for another. We have to rely and trust them. They have produced such fantastic results for patients – they really do know what is best.

Regarding the parking ticket issue, this is also a hard one as due to the nature of our business consultations can run late – as can patients. We try and avoid delays wherever possible but need to ensure that patients have the opportunity to get all of their questions answered. Our clinic teams will always try and keep you informed and from your post it does sounds like they did that and you were in regular conversation with them. They would have assisted if you needed to go and put more money in the machine or needed change for the meter. I understand your frustrations. Parking attendants are so vigilant in London and we are sorry you were unfortunate in this occasion.
