Had my BA earlier this afternoon with Gary Traynor at First Trust hospital Preston.
I’m not in tooo much pain just yet. I actually found the drip on my hand and the feeling sick from anaesthetic far worse!!! My hand is more sore than my boobs how is that possible lol. Really not looking forward to the next few days though.
Also, who knew you had to wear the stockings for the next 5 days?! I don’t know why but this really shocked me, and haven’t seen anyone mention it before. They make me really hot and we’re about to have a heatwave… just typical!
Another thing, my day did not go smoothly as I put on bloody moisturiser this morning after my shower. Just a warning to everyone. Or maybe I’m just dumb. But I didn’t know you couldn’t have it on. I really wish someone had told me. Maybe I was told at my pre-op but that was 3 weeks ago and there was so much to take in. I really wish I’d been reminded with my admission time email. I’ve never had surgery before. But anyway it was awful because I go as far as going into theatre but when they realised I had to go and shower and missed my surgery slot! So had to wait another hour in my room working myself up with nerves again.
BUT the good news is the surgeon managed to fit in the biggest implant out of the 3 choices, 400cc hp overs so I’m pleased about that.
