Hello. Just had my surgery- 250cc HP over muscle. Was an A cup. Any questions message me:) just wondered if anyone could recommend any vitamins or supplements to take after to aid recovery? Also my left is hurting much more than my right. Is this normal? Thanks girls. Really appreciate it xxxx

Hey hun my left hurt a lot more than my right no idea why! Its normal 🙂 I took multi vitamins, arnica and had protein bars! This helps recovery, reduces swelling and helps the skin get less stretch marks! I would recommend loads of ice packs on them as much as you can, those tablets and a lot of water 🙂 xxxx

Thanks girls, helped so much! Which multi vitamins did you take and do you know when they’ll stop feeling hard?:) thanks again xxx

Hey, I’ve been taking all the meds i was given, Ibuprofen for the swelling, vitamin c to keep up your immune system so it can heal, arnica tablets (I have the tiniest bit of bruising ever so think these worked) and defintely plenty of protein and veg/fruit etc. and lots of rest the first few days!!
I’m almost back to normal apart from my insicions a week post op xxx

Also, even though it hurts try to move your arms a bit more each day, especially your none dominant hand as I have been naturally using my right more than my left, so my left felt more stiff and uncomfortable for longer! Don’t over do it but try to keep moving once you feel up to it 🙂

Awh you’re all so helpful! When I stand the pain increases so much:( hoping for a quick recovery.

When they drop do they look bigger and softer? Thanks girls xx

    Menu

Aw hopefully it will be quick! The more you stand the more you’ll get used to it though, it’s just getting used to the extra weight!
I’m only a week post op and they’re already starting to get softer and they defintely look bigger!xx

@laurawight Oh do they end up looking bigger?:) I’m struggling so much with standing hun. Feels so hard and sore! Xx are you taking any supplements?

    Menu

Yeah I think mine defintely do, I’ve only uploaded 2 post op picture up to now but they look different already even just in that few days! Yeah I was too at first! How many days post op are you? It does defintely get better, just take it easy and once you can try and keep your back straight! Mine is killing from being hunched over and seen my nurse yesterday and she said to keep it straight when I can and it feels better today
Give it a few days and you’ll probably feel miles better 🙂
Yeah just what I said above 🙂 vitamin c, arnica, eat healthy and generally keep on top of meds. Ibuprofen are a god send! I’ve had hardly any swelling at all xxx

    Useful tips babe! Xxx

    Menu

lots and lots and lots of water. Filtered bottled water is best. Also don’t be afraid to go for a walk around the house or in the garden 🙂 use your stomach/abs to get up off your bed or sofa, try resist using your arms. xxx
