Just had my last sponge bath! LoL Stitches out tomorrow… :-)

Well its almost time… 11am tomorrow Off to Cardiff I go on my quest for a shower lol! x

Who’s had Mr C? Can I shower tomorrow? If the nurse says I cant I might throw myself under the train on the way back! x

I know exactly how you feel missmck!! I have my first post op appointment at half 5 this evening to get my staples out. No matter how many times you wash yourself down, it just isn’t the same as a shower! My mum washed my hair for me the other day which did make a big difference but I cannot wait to get these dressings off. Can’t believe I have to wait until this evening, but hey ho. I hope you get to have a good wash by the end of the day!!

How long is it before you can have a shower, is it a week? x

Until you get your dressings done by the nurse. They decide then whether the dressings need to go back on!! Hopefully not!

I went to see the nurse post op yesterday, it was a relief to get the dressings off, but she still put some little steri strips on which i have to keep on for another 3 days then soak them off, as long as it helps my scars i think i can just abut manage to sponge bath for 3 more days x

Sorry to say this but I had Mr C and from Cardiff and had to wait till day 12 for my first shower. She took the stitches out on day 8 but said i’d have to wait 3 to 4 days before i got them wet still and put new dressings on.

I know exactly how you feel, i was so gutted, but it came round soon enough!

STITCHES ARE OUT AND……….

Boobs look LUSH! Im so happy! x Scars are so neat…. looks like a little line of red biro!

I just got off the train and went to Tesco and bought some Simple shower gel and soap! Cleanliness….. Here I come! LoL x

I’m so jealous! I’m 10 days post op and still cant shower as they put fresh dressings on tuesday! Suppose its down to having an uplift, just hope i can shower after my 2wk post op!

Well, I probably will have my dressings re applied too samf as I had an uplift as well! Oh bugger, was looking forward to a good scrub!

40 minute shower! Better than sex?! LoL x

If you girls do have to wait……. its worth it! x
