just had my pre op breast band ??

just had my pre op and have been told ill be wearing a breast band arrrrrrrrrr

i got told this 2 hun but im having overs i thought it was just for unders?

me neither hun whos ur surgeon im with dr falladhar?? x not lookin forward to wearin it, and she also said that i would have to take it to hosp with me on day so does that mean she is sending it to my home?? x

gem did the nurse say she will order one for you ? i got told that too , but when i had my surgery mr fallandar did not say anything to me also when i went to see him at 7 weeks he did not mention it

plus i did not have anything delivered ?

oh, yea she said she will order me a medium n tht i was to bring it to hospital with me, confused lol x

that is what the nurse said to me, do no worry if it come great if it does not dont worry about it ,mr fallahandar will tell you make sure you have your sports bra /macom bra slippers some one with you phone or magazine when your bored. x

Hi girls. I had overs 20wks ago. Got told at 2 weeks to wear breast band for 2 weeks so the nurse ordered me one. I wore it for the 2 weeks, but as I didnt get a follow up until 18wks didnt know that I was supposed to wear it for longer. No my left boob is higher and supposed to have double bubble although I cant see it. Now I have to wear it until I see my surgeon again in may. Not happy. Make sure they make it clear to you what they want you to do. Good luck girls.xx

I agree with julieanne4 on this please if you are given instructions to wear a breasts band ask them to explain why and for how long,even if it means another trip to the clinic to get checked out, the band is there to help,an important part of the recovery process,and provided to give you the best result,for you as an individual,do not come away from the hospital without instructions,this is your body you have spent a lot of money,the surgeons can work miracles in terms of the procedure,but the healing process is just as important as the operation in my opinion,if you do not have instructions on what to do,please make sure you get this information even if it means asking the nurse to speak to the surgeon on your behalf.

Sorry you have to go through the torture of the dreaded breast band again julieanne,I never had to wear one but I can imagine they are a pain honey,literally….lol,hope it does the trick for you this time around. Massive hugs xxx

Im so not looking forward to it they said I only have to wear it for ten days but still not what I was expecting maybe as im going very big ???

I had unders girls an mr fallahdar said I have to wear it for 6 weeks the first week was horrible but then u get used to it an now don’t even no I got it on I’m seein him next tues so one week left an I can wear normal bra’s, but I agree with Tina if ur told to wear it then do! I had trouble with my right boob an really wanted to take it off in the day an wear it at night so my nurse asked the surgeon an he said no day an night especially with the anatomicals cause if they turn I’d have wonky boob, I’m addin more pics now if u wanna see it on, an also my nurse said mine could come to the house so take it if not they’ll have it at the hospital so don’t worry, it’s itchy wear the Velcro is at the front but I jus put some folded tissue down there an it’s fine xxx

I find cutting the tops off sports socks and putting the breast band through them so they are under your arms to stop rubbing helps. Make sure they mean ten days as mine said 2 weeks then said why did i not wear it longer.

Snap I had unders with Mr F and had to wear the band for four weeks got used to it after a week then when I didn’t have to wear it sort of missed it lool if ure surgeon wants u to wear it he will inform u and for how long for x x
