Just had my pre op with Jan the nurse

so just got home from manchester after having my pre op with the nurse, all seems very real now. its 2 weeks tomorrow!!! and the last 2 weeks have absolutely flown by, hope these do too

for any1 who hasnt had there pre op yet and was wondering what went in heres what happened. basically you just go through a few questions about your medical history, whether u take any pills, had surgery or illness recently etc then she take your blood pressure, weigh you and measure how tall you are. go through a few questions i may of had and what actually happens on the day of the surgery, what to take, dos and donts. got a feeling im gona be starving on this day hope im one of the 1st in lol also if your a day case youll be the 1st ones to have your op, anyone stayng over will have theres in the afternoon. she then takes a few pics of your boobs atm, bit annoying having a mirror on the other wall so you can see yourself, was so glad that next time im there having my pics taken ill have boobs haha then she makes a post op appointment for a week after your surgery then off you go

not sure if it will be of any help to anyone but wanted to share, plus im excited i only have 15 days to wait !!!!! xxxx

oh also things like you cant wash anywhere near your breasts till after your post op appointment, dont use spray deodrant and dont use any oils or butters on your boobs for 6 weeks, which i didnt know!! but i think she meant that in terms of massaging, i think be ok to put bio oil on aslong as its knowhere near ur incisions but this is something ill check on surgery day xxx
